It felt natural when his own name was not asked alongside Seastorm's; he felt it obvious that he was here as an extension of her. A bartering chip. A tool to be wielded in her name. He remained attentive, wishing that someone would direct him toward some useful task, but part of his mind wandered.

He needed, he realized, to speak privately with Alaric. There were things about the forest pack he felt the father needed to know. Catamaran only wished he had known them before his last conversation with Kinusi.

That was for later, though. He doubted Kinusi was in immediate danger. It was Seastorm's condition that truly worried him.
