Hokulani understands that her father is close by. She will sing Hakumele's praises, beg to see him. Her tail waves at her hocks as plans run through her honeysuckle mind.

She wonders if he has joined a pack. If so, Solharr may know which; after all they must be relatively close, and surely he knows the names of the packs neighbouring them. It does not matter much if her father is alone or with others of course, her message will be the same; 'leave me be you old codger'!

It is time to come of age, and she will have no issue showing Hakumele the warrior she has become.
