There was another fresh face in the Caldera this morning. Alivia watched from afar as the pale-coated stranger trailed the shoreline. She squinted. Was it a man, or a woman.. or maybe a child? She couldn't tell from this distance. The newcomer somehow bore the characteristics of all three. 

She closed the distance with a spring in her step. 

"A new recruit, huh?" she asked, pulling up behind the newcomer. "You must be here for the initiation ritual. I'm Alivia, and I'll be your Spirit Guide."
