He cackles at her playful warning, swerving his body to the side a bit like a breaching whale as she launches at him again. He feels her forelegs whack him on the ribs, slowed considerably by the water. Bushtit resists the urge to kick out his back feet, as he might catch her in the belly. He doesn’t want to actually hurt her.

He turns as fast as the medium allows, then dives underwater to nip at her like some oversized piranha. His teeth aim for her own ribs, hoping to tickle her. Bushtit minds her legs, jerking back a little to avoid being struck in the face. One of her limbs brushes his snout right before he kicks for the surface to take a breath.
