Swiftcurrent Creek Here we go again

The she-wolf relaxed slightly as the other female appeared to heed her warning. There was no need for bloodshed, especially given her current condition. Still, she paced along the boundary of the packland, her gaze fixed on the stranger until she finally cleared Swiftcurrent’s territory. A quiet breath escaped her as the tension drained from her muscles. Since when had she become so pack-minded? Something to reflect on later, for sure.
