Bitterroot Valley seven long years

she watched as the other woman invited her to follow while she marked borders, very friendly, she's lucky she isn't on her own, kasia remarked. or, maybe angel oak knew when to act detached and was only friendly because she was conversing with a fellow packmate. who knew?

she followed behind the younger she-wolf, unsure if she should mark the borders as well. it seemed that angel wanted someone else to talk to for the time being rather than someone else helping her. kasia would oblige to the first request and do the second request if she was explicitly asked. she wasn't sure of her place here yet, and there were still so many other packmates to meet.

she listened while angel asked if she just came here not long ago. it sounded like a statement and a question to kasia, as if she was trying to pry more information from her, "yes, been travelling for very long time. needed somewhere to stay," she responded. she would only share that much with angel. she wasn't comfortable with sharing more, and angel needed to respect that wish of hers.
