Heron Lake Plateau Road Regrets

As the rosy sunset faded into navy, Niamh streched, left her den and headed for the borders. She’d decided to take on a couple night shifts without really conversing with anyone else- but she figured it certainly wouldn’t hurt to switch up her routine a bit, and reinforce the borders after dark.

She spooked a raccoon while on patroll, and the creature snarled and hurled high pitched, warbling accusations at her from the tree it ran up. Unphased, she continued along the borders, stopping here and there to investigate a scent or leave a new one of her own.
