He'd continued down the creek's edge after his encounter with the earthly hued sylph, his attention now set upon the rich patch of aspens that lied just within eyesight up ahead. If he was not mistaken, this was the emberwood Bhediya had spoke of on their first meeting. It was her home, or rather had been not to long ago.
The curly furred wisp had not bothered to enlighten him on why she'd left, and truth was he didn't care much to know either. He was only curious in discovering the nature of those who inhabited the woodlands for himself. Were they friends? Were they foes? He supposed he was about to find out.
