The man wasn't very forthcoming to Calcifer's answer and was even quick to make what sounded like an unpleasant comment about Calcifer's appearance. Calcifer wasn't sure what this male meant. No one had ever commented about his appearance before. He knew his sister was smaller than him but surely that was because she was a girl.
