All Welcome
The Seraph's footfalls were heavy, hitching a tic with the limp of a mostly healed injury (a scuffle with a coyote) yet muffled by the silent crunch of snow packing tightly underfoot with each step. He trailed along the banks of a long stream as it sprawled through thick timberland, harvest grain gaze drifting similarly along the roiling surface of the waters.

Though the bright midday sun glinted and reflected off the trickling creek like freshly minted nickels and dimes, Matias occasionally glimpsed a different gleam beneath the smoother tensions of the calm shallows that beckoned the burnt man with their cool kiss -- fish flitting wraith-like along the pebbled bed.

A shiver tickled along his spine, dark coat fluffing vaguely, as the chilled liquid lapped over his paws -- liver nose twitching as he lowered a broad umber muzzle towards the waters, pale eyes locked intensely upon the sight of a fish as its shape undulated beneath the ripples dancing along the surface.
"Doubt thou the stars are fire; doubt that the sun doth move; doubt truth to be a liar; but never doubt I love.
