Greatwater Lake I'mma disappear when they come for me

Minna wade into the lake, enjoying the cool current around her fur. She closed her eyes and took a breath, submerging herself completely. She stayed under until her lungs burned, and then she burst out of the water with a gasp. She swam to shore with strong strides, reaching the edge quickly and stepping out of the water. Today was especially hot, and the lake was a welcome relief from the sun. Shaking her pelt dry, Minna trotted onto higher ground before stopping and sprawling out along the new grass shoots, grooming her tangled fur.
