All Welcome
Of late, Burr had taken an interest in the earth. It happened suddenly one day, when he was killing time around the Stone Circle's namesake and noticed what seemed like a glimmering spot of russet rock in one of the natural pillars. It was a vein of copper, unbeknownst to the unschooled boy, who had taken a great interest in its sharp metallic smell and its appearance. Ever since then, Burr had been on the hunt for the stuff, particularly a piece of it that wasn't buried in stone so he could give it to Cyron as a gift when he returned.

His parents had been gone for some time now, but Burr hardly noticed. He was getting older, stronger, and much larger. He was nearly as big as some of the adults now. Rowana was larger than him, a fact she frequently gave him a hard time about, but Burr was developing a deep chest and his winter coat made him look considerably larger than he was. He was destined to be much like Mawk, only a little more wolfish. He couldn't have been happier about that.

Today his search took him to the edge of a pond around which several medium-sized rocks were clustered. As Burr padded along the shore, which was beginning to freeze at its edges and made conspicuous snapping sounds whenever he placed a paw upon it, he contemplated the change in weather. The sky was frequently overcast and the air was much colder than he had ever known it before. He tilted his head back to peer at the sky, wondered for a moment what it all meant, then dropped his snout to investigate the next rock that he came across. After sniffing around it for several moments, he decided with a huff that there was none of the glittery red rock within. He circled it one more time for good measure, then hoisted a leg to piss conclusively on it, sighing satisfactorily as a faint steam rose from the frosted ground.

(hope you dont mind me :) )

Since her arrival at the Teekon Wilds, Aurelia had encountered just one other wolf.
She thought of the dark furred loner that had so rudely! interrupted her moonlight serenade. And so far, since this initial run in with another of her own the Lockhart had remained pensive. She had not trusted the male, and in the end they had both gone their own ways. But like the younger wolf, the second one, she was about to encounter, Aurelia too had noted the change in weather.
Soon she'd have to find some wolves she could trust, if only to spend the harsher months of winter with.

This would be her next mission, she decided, but first she opted to find something to quench the thirst and sate the hunger that gnawed at her belly. At the sight of the lake, Aurelia picked up the pace, her yellow eyes quickly noting the feathered trail that could be found nearing the edge, hinting that perhaps she could kill two birds with one stone. That if she managed to find such bird...

Though it took her a moment more (since she was still distracted with the feathers) the young preta soon caught sight of something, or rather someone in the edge. The dissapointment she felt to see he was indeed not a duck, therefore not food, did not last too long for something else quickly took place of this feeling.
Curiosity.
With her ears pricked and her tail raised not in dominance but caution she approached the young thing, who was laternating between looking longingly at the sky and then to the pebbles at his feet before proceeding to take a piss.

"nice" she barked softly, the words falling loosely from her lips as she did not feel threatened in the least by the younger male's presence, au contraire, she felt innocently lured to him - never intending harm, there was just something about the youth that made Aurelia feel at ease.

It went without saying that although most young men were not shy about their bodies, Burr had been raised a little differently. Though Mawk was a Casanova prior to settling down with Illecebra, the man was also a gentleman when he wanted to be, and had raised his sons with a measure of modesty. As a result, Burr tended to do his business privately, not only because he was on the threshold of adolescence and was a little embarrassed about the ever-changing state of his bits but because he didn't want to shock anyone with something unsightly.

The last thing he was expecting to hear mid-piss was a compliment, so Aurelia's made him yelp and do an about-face, promptly halting his urination with an unpleasant twinge as his vision snagged on a cocoa-and-rust she-wolf.

"Wha—" the boy spluttered with his tail forming a curved bottlebrush behind him. Had he lacked fur, his entire head would have turned a bright shade of crimson. The tips of his ears burned as he hastily dropped to a sit so that she couldn't continue copping a look (which is what he assumed she was doing). "Don't watch me pee!" the boy hissed, embarrassed, and attempted to cover up his humiliation with the harshest glare he could manage. For now, his hunt for copper was forgotten.

Oh no
Though she had meant no harm to the boy, perhaps she should have seen this coming, she had never been interrupted mid-piss herself but now that she thought about it she could imagine it wouldn't be pleasant. Rightfully bothered, the boy jumped up, his sudden, brusque movements spooking Aurelia right back. "oh, oh, oh no" she whined while, like a frightened kitten she arched her back and backpedaled from him, her yellow eyes meeting his briefly before the boy plopped into a sit and hissed a reprimand her way.

"s-sorry!" she squeaked, her chestnut colored ears pressed flat against her skull and her fluffed up tail hanging low. She had approached the boy because something about him had sparked curiosity in her, and she had felt safe to do so. Now she was not so sure she had made the right call. Still she remained rooted to her spot, unless the boy remained hostile she would not flee.

Although Aurelia was the peeping tom herself, she reacted as if she was the one being peeped on. Burr watched, flushed and bothered with his forepaws tucked in around his ankles to prevent her from looking at anything else, as she backpedaled and blurted out a flustered apology. The boy's ears planed to the sides of his head as he watched on, dumbfounded, until at last he found his tongue again.

"Yeah, well, don't look then!" he shot back, but his words were hasty and his voice was pinched. His embarrassment wasn't going to go away that quickly, but in an effort to deflect it—for it just wouldn't do for him to act all shy—Burr turned it back on Aurelia the best he could. "Didn't anyone teach ya any manners?" Since it was obviously her fault that he had been pissing out in the middle of nowhere for anyone to see.

The boy continued to try to hide himself from her eyes while Aurelia tried (uselessly) to hide the utter panic and embarrassment that broiled in her belly. She now realized she had fucked up by sneaking up on him, even with her innocent intentions, but she did not know how to undo it.
Maybe she should've never even approached, or tried to apologize since it seemed the boy was not having any of it as he spat another reprimand her way.

She looked at him, her widened yellow eyes blinking quickly as she debated whether or not it was even worth it to try to defend her case. She did think she had manners - she had already apologized after all. She remained silent, her ears still pinned to her skull and her teail droopy.
Maybe she should just leave and let him be.

Aurelia took a single step back, a soft whine escaping through her lips as she shot one last look at the boy's face.
"i truly didn't mean to" she barked, trying one last time to mend the damage she had done.
Even if she could not unsee what she had witnessed, she could swear to never speak of it again with anyone. Ever.

Burr should have felt bad about his attitude, but there was lingering embarrassment that pushed his guilt right under the rug. He was a stubborn boy as well, and though he often wasn't intentionally bad-mannered, he was somewhat insensitive. He read Aurelia's own humiliation and understood on some level that she was bothered by his accusations, but he missed the cues that he should knock off his own behaviour.

He rose to his paws again, flicking his curled tail somewhat pompously as he peered sidelong at her and asked, "yeah, well, what even were you doing then?" Take that, peeping stranger!

"i just wanted to say hello" she squeaked with a small shrug of her shoulders. She felt it sounded like a completely stupid excuse even though it was actually the truth; she had seen him, felt curious, and decided to strike up a conversation with the boy.
And it so happened that when she approached he decided to pee and instead of ignoring it she had taken it as a chance to start the exchange.
So yeah, thinking of pee as a conversation starter?
Awful mistake.

She could sorta understand his embarrasment, as he had been caught completely off guard and all, but to the Lockhart there was really no such thing as a proper bathroom ettiquete - it was a natural feat for all living things alike. Hell she could (BUT NOT THAT SHE WOULD) even squat down right now and take a piss herself...... being anxious did mess with her bladder...
But after seeing his reaction to her just being there wrong place wrong time she would rather die before also doing the wrong thing - again.

"i swear" she added after a heartbeat.
She truly hoped he would not forever think she was some sort of pee enthusiast or bathroom buisness voyeur.

He tipped his ears back incredulously in response to Aurelia's claim, but for the moment, had nothing to say. It came sort of out of left field. After all, no one really just came by to say hello to Burr. Even his own pack mates weren't that warm and welcoming with him—hell, the last one he'd tried to be friendly with had threatened to bite him. He didn't go out of his way to meet them, either, but who cared about that? He didn't have any friends to speak of with his family gone, so the idea that someone would specifically come to him to greet him was unbelievable, no matter how true it may be.

So rather than trying to right his wrongs and rectify the awkward situation, or show the gratitude he felt deep within, Burr reverted to rude kid status and bluntly asked, "why?" Why had she wanted to say hi to him?
