All Welcome
it's a nice cave, he thinks, and he doesn't have much more of an opinion on it. he spends a few hours idly exploring, but much of the wonder is lost on him. some part of him is aware of it (maybe a larger part than he wants to admit); there are plants here he's never seen, and sometimes he thinks he glimpses strange critters in the shadows, but he's just not all that interested. the fact frustrates him.
or maybe he is interested, but it's stupid. so he plops himself down against one of the walls and glares, because he's better at glaring than anything else. maybe if he glares at the plants long enough, they'll stop being stupid, or maybe he'll stop being stupid. he's not sure which one would fix the problem at hand, but he knows the whole thing is stupid.

Backdated to when the group is still on Mt. Apikuni.

Why did Grezig keep coming back to this creepy place? This was the third time. She sighed as she entered the cavern, looking around at the strange foliage and the strange shadows in the background. When she took in another breath, the smell of wolf hit her nose. And why were there so many other wolves who came here? Of course, she couldn’t really ask that question lest she want it thrown back at her. She kept coming back, so…

She moved farther into the cave and saw a male wolf up ahead, who looked… vaguely familiar. But not anyone she’d met so far here, in the Teekon Wilds. Mentally shrugging, she let the feeling go and gave a chuff of greeting, wondering what he was doing in here. “Hail.”

he's already pretty irritated when the other wolf's entrance disturbs him, glancing up with an immediately sour expression and opening his mouth to say something rude. he stops with his mouth still open. "what the fuck?" he laughs, standing up and taking a couple steps toward her. "grezig? seriously? i travel all this way and find you? shit." all he can do is stand there and laugh, mostly because he thinks it's terribly unfortunate for both of them— but mostly for her, because he thinks it's hilarious.

SOMEHOW I HAD NO IDEA THAT YOU REPLIED TO THIS??? I AM SO SORRY.

Grezig was not expecting the response she got—laughter. And then… her name, coming from the name of a stranger. But no… this was not a stranger. This was her brother. Her younger brother, whom she had not seen in months, which would explain why she had not immediately recognized him. “Zurek,” she said, a statement rather than a question. “What are you doing here?” He clearly had not come looking for her, given his complete surprise upon finding her. “Is the pack all right?” She studied her little brother. He looked well enough. He was bigger than the last time she had seen him. He must be a yearling now… It was strange to be sitting here with him, in all honesty. When she’d left the pack months ago she had never expected to see any of her family again. She’d said her farewells and left. And now here was Zurek, sitting before her. Very strange…

Even stranger was that the boy had nothing to say to her, as if brushing off his big sister. Grezig snorted, feeling no particular loyalty to him. He had come here on his own, meaning that he was capable of being on his own. She said her goodbyes and left him there, determined never to come back to this creepy place again.
