All Welcome
set to September 19th

Aerasha laid by the stone step waterways, peacefully enjoying the sound of trinkling liquids and the soft whispers of smaller animals. She rested her head on her paws letting out a relaxed sigh to the moment. Life was well, the afternoons were good, and she was fulfilled in life. The days of lazily dozing off and playfully talking to others as they spoke in a fluster were the good days that she looked forward to continuing.

The brown and cream toned wolf softly chuckled as she looked forward to the time she would meet other Packs. She was curious on what they were like, but Aerasha was in no rush to meet them. If the time came so be it, the time would come if they sought her out, or the other way around. For now, she will happily enjoy the afternoon of this wonderous and peaceful area.~

Aerasha's moment of peace and quiet would not last for very long, because a stealthy hunter was on a prowl. It had been quite a discovery that Nunataq's home Bearclaw valley had not only one front porch that opened at Wapun meadow, but another on the opposite side with a whole new world of it's own. She had been a little wary to venture in this terra incognita at first, but after that initial hour of doubt, she came to two conclusions. One - she had nothing to fear, because there was no one else to trust (and therefore ask a permission) than her. The other - oh, what the hell... The latter motto was the predominant reasoning for all her doing lately.

While following a delicious scent of a rat, Nunataq stumbled upon the rear side of a fluffier and much larger specimen. And without a second thought, she pounced at it with an intention to pin that "rear" with her forepaws and sink her teeth in the fur.

"Woaaah.~" Despite the rush of the moment, Aerasha let out a laxed noise while a bit surprised. She just managed to hear the rustle behind, and the gust of the paws just barely reaching, but was thankful to move right before the wolf bit at her. Dramatically so, she physically rolled over to avoid the fangs. Oh gosh! So close; close to being prey, and so close to slipping in the water! While she was facing the water and rolled sideways, just a bit more the creamed fad couldve tipped in! Rivers aren't straight lines. She felt a little more movement, she may possibly take a dip. Though hey, she still plush. And she'll worry about being too close to the water later.

"Heeeey.~"  Although the rather rough encounter, she greeted this attempted predator with an easy-going smile, and acted like the hunting moment didn't just happen now.

It was not an overgrown rabbit, but a wolf and she missed it. -1 point for both a mercenary and a hunter, if Nuna had really cared about such things. Instead she made a jump backwards, scrutinized the coffee-colored piebald lady until she was sure that yet again this was not a Lucas, but someone else, and then with wagging tail and no inhibitions about approaching a stranger that she had so rudely assaulted just seconds ago, she came closer and began to inspect the lady more thoroughly. After all she had not reprimanded the girl for her mistake or plainly told her to get lost and never show her snout in the vicinity again. That was just as good as a "welcome".

Aerasha was idly waiting for an answer, but was met with silence and a wag of a tail. She curiously looked at the young one with a lethargic smile, and inquired, "what'chaaa dooin'?" She asked the wolf stranger. While asking she was gently scooting her body to get away from the edge, she may enjoy a dip in the water, but not when its a forceful dive. Today was a relaxing day!

If Aerasha wanted to hear Nunataq speak, she would have to wait a very long, long, long time and even then it was not guaranteed that she would hear something of interest or intelligible. The girl did not waste words and often wondered, why did everyone else did so. Doing was easier and quicker, in her opinion.

Nuna was done with her inspection and, when she saw the lady move away from something, she went over to see, what it was. A riverbank, how convenient. Unlike Aerasha the teenager had no reservations about taking a dip. She jumped in, splashing water everywhere, took a quick drink first, then - having spotted something underwater - began to dig at it and attempt to pull it out.

"Woaaaah.~" Met with action instead of words, Aerasha let out an exaggerated sound as she watched the wolf jump into the water. Originally she was wanting to relax in the sun, but as she is a wolf who goes with the flow more, her quelms about the water subsided, and she would follow. The coffee creamed wolf didn't jump and splash in like the one before her, rather, almost elegantly, sashayed in the water, fur following behind as tail wisped above the currents.

She gently padded toward Nunataq and gave a soft, sleepy look and inquired, "what'chaaa, doin'?~"

"WHEEEP!" Nunataq had been so immersed in getting that tasty piece of weed out from it's underwater home that she entirely missed the piebald she-wolf get in the water, swim around her and approach from an entirely unexpected side. Therefore no wonder that she squeaked like a baby (what she had not done in a very long time), when her former-prey appeared out of nowhere and spoke. Out of reflex she plopped down on her bum, but the instant the cold water touched her loins, she jumped up, as if having been stung by a hedgehog.

She shook her coat, regarded the lady disapprovingly, then huffed and got out of the water, where she lied down and began to groom her hind-legs and "beautiful end" that were dripping ice cold water.

Aerasha grinned at the whelping, clearly amused by the fiasco. Though she didn't comment on it, but let her bicolored gaze follow the other in silence. Words would not work, so she'll simply observe and play. She found no point on speech if it is wasted away in a quiet world. Thoough, she was curious on why this stranger wouldn't speak.

She gently padded to the side of the stream to where Nunataq was, but did not follow out. Aerasha lowered her body so that she could plop her cream head right on the shore, and curiously look at the other as they groomed. Her grin became a smile, and she looked at them with a soft and carefree twist of the lips.

Gradually everything returned to normal, the prickly sensation of cold went away and Nunataq's good mood returned, once grooming was finished. Having sat with her back turned to the stream and the she-wolf, she now spun around to face her. She regarded her slyly, came a little closer, lied down on her belly and gave the stranger's head a good sniff. With this done, she seemed to be pondering something and then lifted one of her forepaws to swat the lady on the forehead. Not hard and with no better reason than because I can one.

What a cuutiieee, so the wolf thought. Aerasha didn't mind how close she came, as the she-wolf was all full of carefree smiled while watching the movie before her- which ended up becomign 3D. The action led her to blink and tilt her head to the side with a chuckle, looking at Nunataq with a keen interest. It reminded her of what some felines do toward the unknown, swatting at it and sometimes flee the scene. Though she didn't, and neither did the cream lady.

"Whyyy.~" Aerasha mouthed, asking the other why she would bap her. Though knowing there would be no answer, the soundless words were more for her own effect toward the situation.

Without caring much to get up to her feet, Nuna dragged herself closer to the lady with the cream pelt, and aimed another "boop" at her forehead, because she had not seemed to mind the first one. Whether she succeeded her quest or not remains for the fate (or the other player) to be decided, but the kid, now being in a playful mood, rested her head between her outstretched forepaws, so that the tip of her muzzle almost touched Aerasha's and with a wagging tail barked a "RRRR-WRUFF!" in the lady's face.

"Hahaha.~" Aerasha only laughed at the playful acts Nunataq was doing, and accepted the other tap. In return she wanted to do the same, however the other drew awfully close. So close that she gave a bark, and she could've sworn to feel the saliva. Though that was okay too; she was smiling idly as the other seemed to enjoy herself.

So the soft wolf thought too as well, as she too drew her head near, in an attempt to place her own maw right ontop of the little ones head, as if she was a stool to rest on.

The more time Nunataq spent in Aearasha's company, the more convinced she was that this lady allowed her a lot more liberties than any other wolf back at home. She had put on the mantel of an adult and, though it did not still fit and she was prone to trip over it at times, the rest of the grown ups had stopped treating her as a child. And with this newfound appraisal came also the responsibility for her actions. More invisible margins were set and more self-control was required from her.

For all of the above mentioned reasons stranger's laid-back attitude in their interaction was something new and very welcome in Nuna's otherwise bleak period of life. She let the lady rest her head atop hers for a second and then with bared teeth turned so that her jaws clasped the underside of Aerasha's chin lightly. Her tail was still wagging and she let out playful growls.

Aerasha was often called a bit too relaxed, to the point other parties became visibly uncomfortable by her cat-like lazy nature. Some Easthollow wolves already viewed her as immature, despite being a grown ass woman, but hey, she was enjoying life quite well. Others may try to force responsibility onto the soft wolf, as she did join a Pack, but it hasn't stopped her seeking out amusement, and most likely never will. The current entertainment was a particular silent one, whome made her chuckle.

As the other clamped onto her chin, Aerasha pushed her body out of the water, hopefully dragging her along. She let out a playful chuckle and a similar tail wag, while attempting to push herself directly onto the pup, either in a hug, or literally lay on the other. Somehow she'll do something, maybe. A hopeful maybe.

In Nunataq's opinion, another definite plus of Aerasha was that she was no party-pooper. She did put a lazy effort to shake the girl off and, when that did not work and the teenager felt almost victorious for a second, tactics of the game changed. The lady used her mass and fur to push herself onto the girl like a big, fluffy and heavy pillow. In order not to get her neck snapped because of the increasingly uncomfortable position she was being in, Nunataq let go and remained lying under the other wolf, until she freed one of her forepaws and began pushing it against the other's chest. The first feeble attempt to break free.

Aerasha fur drenched downward as she recently came out of the water, hopefully splashing the one beneath her. She displayed herself like a mother hen on her baby, as a happy-go-lucky and pleased smile hung on her lips while enjoying sitting on Nunataq. Her bicolored gaze dipped down to greet the struggling companion, who tried to push against her chest, "cuuute.~" She commented, obviously making no movement to get up from the position, making the first attempt to break free; a failure.

The more Nunataq struggled, the less likely it seemed that she would ever get rid of Aerasha's heavy and wet body. She looked down smugly and the girl met her with a dark, furious gaze and bared her teeth at her. How dared she to laugh!!! This was not funny anymore. She doubled her efforts and eventually managed to squeeze out her squashed body from under the impudent lady, until only her head remained squeezed inbetween the ribcage and the earth. She kicked with all four paws against the ground and finally managed to free her head as well. Except the victory was short-lived, because momentum made her lose her balance, fall backwards, over the edge of the bank and end up in the ice-cold water with a splash.

She held a playful, and a mischevious gaze while looking at the struggling pup. Though Aerasha made no effort to move, and only watched as the other tried, and tried again to free herself. Even when the other succeeded, she didn't move and continued to watch in an interest at what they were to do next. A soft chuckle continued to rang out as the other was only left with a head, until..

She was splashed lightly, but showed no annoyance as the soft fae was already wet enough. Instead she looked down into the waters toward where the other fell into, and smiled at the liquid, "Oh nooo.~" She said, but there was no hint of worry in her voice as it carried with laughter instead.

Nunataq emerged from the water, coughing, sneezing, snorting and spitting out the liquid that had got in her airways and caused irritation. Once she felt like a normal wolf being again, she climbed out, shook her coat, splattering water everywhere (and hoping that some of it hit the nasty lady). With this done, she returned to the ledge, where the fight for her freedom had taken place earlier, sat down and regarded Aerasha with a long, hard stare. There was no sign of friendliness, just pure, cold, finely distilled hatred, which simply told that the girl was a very sore loser and that this failure had hit her ego hard.

"WRUMPH!" she infused as much venom as possible in the bark, got to her feet and ran off, without so much as looking back. Calling people names gave her a little consolation about the whole ordeal that had gone entirely off rails just because the other person had refused to play by Nunataq's rules.

Thank you for the thread!

likewise! i love them
and aaaa 100 posts !!

Aerasha was full of smiles and giggles as she watched the other become a sore loser. Even the hard stare did not cause much of a difference as the mischief smile continued to hang on her soft lips, as the two sat staring at each other with soaked fur. Her's was slowly drying up, only to be splashed a bit by the splatter of waterdrops once more. She didn't care though, earlier she did not want to be wet, but going with the flow it was how it came to be, and thus gave little care to the damp fur since it already happened. She cared more toward the other, who gave a bark of poison, and then fled.

"Byeee.~" She hoped her voice filled with laughter could be heard by the other as she ran away, throughly amused by the whole event.
