The fog had been stubborn and unwilling to lift until well after the sun had risen, and finally, the peak of the Sunspire was revealed through the fog, reaching toward the whispy clouds that didn't dare to stand in the sun's eye. It was a very cool day, but the wind was low and the sun was warm on Shrike's mottled grey back as he walked alongside @Allure, enjoying the fact that her fur was almost always hot to the touch when in the sunlight.

Returning to the land where they met had given Shrike a strange feeling of nostalgia. He wondered if the Caldera wolves were still doing well, but worried about paying them a visit. Surely if Fox saw him again, she'd chase him out; the only one he knew there that he could truely trust was Elwood; Finley might have also taken his side, and young Raven had been kind to him as well. But following Peregrine's passing, everything had changed, thus he didn't regret the decision to move to Neverwinter, for the sake of his beloved.

He felt that the trip had done them both well; visiting his family had been...Interesting. They were the sort to smother with love and encouragement, and for Shrike- ever stoic and aloof- it was a bit much, but they had absolutely fawned over Allure. Had they stayed much longer it might have become a bit overwhelming for both of them, hence why they sought to return to the lands where they'd met, to see if Allure's younger relatives were still in the area. Cypress and Rannoch's names were at the forefront of their question, and Shrike still wondered about young Lucy Blackthorn, if she'd ever been found. Regardless, Sunspire was the first place to look, so they made their way toward it in the high midday sunlight.

And that first kiss coming, let's just freeze the frame
