All Welcome
The peaceful slopes were kind to him.

Even so, travel stayed slow, it had taken him longer than necessary to make it this far, but it was still not the mountain he remembered it as. It was lonely here, too, and beneath his calloused paws, he felt the aching desolation that did not match the view before him, each day much like that last.

The dissonance seemed loud enough to disturb him just enough to keep him aware, but never could he pin it down. Fading scents of traffic didn't help a constant lurk of paranoia; he holed up here anyway, resting, when he couldn't exactly pass it up.

While lonesome, it was quiet here, and on the way here, he had suffered another of the strange fits—a rough one, with his body seized-up and head burning, him only aware enough to feel, left only to wait it out while he spun uncontrollably. He could only remember the end, he thought, when he could finally begin to steady his breathing and inhabit this husk enough to remind it he lived in it still.. but the fatigue had carried on for days after, longer than he could ever recall it lasting..

Today was perhaps his first true upswing, and he had the energy to go look for fresh food finally.
if anyone wants to encounter him a little, feel free      (if not i will make this a read only to use to gently place him at the sunspire)
