All Welcome
maybe @Shisu for some stargazing?

The woods had become stifling, in a way. The dark canopy was like a tomb, burying her beneath the weight of shadows. All it did, lately, was remind her of the constant threat of Redhawks, the bounty on Mou's head. She found little comfort in anything she once had cherished; even the whispers of the daedra at the Temple seemed subdued, as if they, too, were preparing for the onslaught of their enemies.

The girl sprawled out across the cool stone, looking at the myriad stars above. It wasn't the most clear of nights--foggy, in fact--but every once in a while, pinpricks of bright light cut through the thick clouds, beacons of hope. She wondered why some appeared more blue, others more red, or pink, or green. She had always wondered that.

The moon and stars were not Maegi's domain. They were all too peaceful. And for a moment, here, she envied those who were at home with the night and its vast sky. Serenity was not her birthright, nor, it seemed, Mou's. She would never be a stargazer; she was born to things beneath the ground, within the skin and bones. Blood and poison.

And tonight, she hated herself for it.
oh but my darling, what if you fly?

A mess had found it's way to Blackfeather Woods, and Shisu was unaware of it all. She knew the scents of the unknown, and heard the call of another that she didn't know, but found nothing. She had thought maybe the ravens and crows were playing tricks, and a packmate came to the other person before herself. She did not pay too closely to the matter, as she didn't know the seriousness of it. The plush dame only knew there was newcomers toward the woods, but she only met one as of late. The other two, Winterbane and Kalganov, were unknown.

So she continued on with the usual, strolling through the day, stargazing at the night. Though a saddened one, where the fog had set to block the view, and baby blues found it difficult to catch what was above. Her paws unconciously moved forward, to attempt to spot what was blocked. She couldn't see the bigger constellations, said to say, but she faintly had spotted the head of Draco, and continued to find a better view to clearly admire it's beauty.

She remembered the previous location, where she met the Listener. It was a place for quite a sight to see what was above. She thought, just maybe the sight would be clear up there. Her journey begun, and ended upon the arrival as a faint smile hung on her face on the accomplishment of the travel. Which softened up, upon her gaze retracting from the sky, and onto a familiar pale figure that was ahead. While a meek little fae, Shisu was adjusting, and felt herself improving on talking with those who are familiar, "H-Hello." While a stammer followed, she felt proud to be able to greet another on this delightful night, and gave a soft hello toward Maegi, and just for a moment, her mind wasn't focused on what was above. Though they faintly trailed upward already, as Shisu was eager to spot the Draco.

Hi, Shisu, Maegi said quietly when the woman of grays and whites emerged, speaking in her usual hushed tones. She shifted slightly, then rose to a sitting position, allowing Shisu more room beside her. They sat in silence for a moment, looking at the stars that were visible. The Melonii then cast her gaze over to the other, what light there was dancing off her eyes.

You had said you know about stars, the girl continued, still speaking softly, as if telling a secret. She didn't know why she felt so. . .scared. Or vulnerable, at least. Why are some of them different colors? Some look more red, some blue, some green. . ." Maegi nodded upwards, blinking at one in particular. That one is almost a bright orange. Are they like wolves, with different pelts?

Could they sail down to earth--were they corporeal, able to be touched? Maegi knew nothing about the stars, nothing.
