Tags for reference, Kovertol won't be interactive from now until spring. His awakening will be posted and all will be tagged, provided we stay here. Date TBD. Can be referenced by being seen leaving his den for a few minutes but then returning.

The brute returned from his final filling. Satiated and weary, he was retreating to his den. No longer could he keep in the waking world. He weaved through the trees, making his way directly to the den he'd dug for himself. His eyes held a heaviness and his expression was a picture of hardship; despite his good fortune of the year. If @Cry to return now, all would be well. But he doubted the King's return for now. No, @Kai and @Arrowbella would have to live without protection for a few days as yet; unless Kovertol was wrong.

His breath clouded before him as the first noticeable winter dread fell from the sky to blanket the land. He would not stay in the woke state long enough to witness the transformation. His den was in sight now, and soon he would be held in the most fast sleep, waking only to relieve himself and to ensure all was safe. But what he could do in the state he would be induced within, no one knew. Not even himself.

However, after all he felt he had done for the forming pack, he felt like more could've been done. His last frenzy had ended with nothing but his exploration. He felt the woods could be better protected. His mind drifted to Arrowbella, the dark wolf he hoped would last in the vicinity until spring at least. Perhaps she would travel with him. Then Kai, the quietest of them, but who had a heart of gold. He hoped she would stay here, too. Cry and the young piebald were the life of this forest, harboring those who needed safety and happiness. He was yet to meet the young girl properly.

Nae, he cast the thoughts away and cleared his mind as he shuffled into his den, now his mind was a blank canvas and his head felt very heavy. Turning and curling up to turn his back on winter, he closed his eyes.
And started to sleep for a long, long time.

"Common." "Ursine."
