All Welcome
Tagging @Aningan, but anyone's welcome to join!

Formally a member of this pack, Cyclone set her sights on exploring the innards of the glacier. Not only that, but she hoped to run into one of the few members who was surely lurking about. Since they were such a small pack, and this was quite a large territory, she figured the odds weren't exactly in her favor. Still, with so few pack mates, meeting each and every one of them should be fairly easy.

Most of the area was stark and stale. It was nothing like the evergreen trees she was accustomed to, but she supposed she could get used to it. Not like she had much of a choice. Long white legs propelled her forward, stopping every few minutes to make a mental note of a landmark or admire a change in scenery.

Most days were spent alone, most memories made without a witness, and most milestones reached without someone there to praise him.

At times, even those simple experiences occurring alone weighed heavily on the young boy... but that would not get him down, not today! Rather, he refrained from putting too much thought into it, that way it had no opportunity to bother him.

As per usual, Aningan wandered through the territory alone. Every now and again, he caught a glimpse of something out of the corner of his eye, but it was gone every time he turned to face it; he liked to believe that it was someone watching over him, someone that he could trust and rely on—how true that was, he had no way of knowing just yet. His mysterious partner appeared far more recently when he neared the borders, which made him wonder a multitude of things, starting with what was out there? Someday, he would find out but, for now, he turned and headed back towards the depths of the territory.

The farther he walked, the less he felt another presence, up until the soft  crunch of snow ahead caught his attention— who was that? He tiptoed the rest of the way forward, body low, curious to see whatever was walking ahead of him before they could spot him. Yet, when he did see, he shot right up and cocked his head to the side with wonder, amazed by the sheer darkness of the wolf ahead. Was she dirty? What had happened to cause her to appear that way? Uncertain and uncontrollably curious, Aningan yelled after her: “H-Hey! What... who are you?”
Characters are more than welcome to mistake Aningan for a polar bear.
A snowy owl can also be noted hanging around with Aningan, usually in the trees or sky, unless stated otherwise in my posts.

Somebody began yelling at her, and Cyclone's ears slicked back in a mix of annoyance and anticipation something bad was going to come of this. She turned to find a wolf, perhaps not quite fully grown, staring at her in what looked like disbelief, wonder, and curiosity. Neasa, she replied, Who're you? She did wonder what the "what" had been about, but she supposed she would never know. It wasn't as though she was going to ask about it.

She was anxious to get back to exploring the glacier, but she decided it would be a good idea to get to know her new pack mates. If it was to be her job to collect more and send them back, it would be nice to know who she was sending them back to. Maybe this wolf could give her the low down on some more information about IkKanattuk. Even basic things like where they had come from, why they had chosen the glacier, and so on. Hopefully this guy could cough up some of that information.

In any case, it appeared he wasn't interested. Er, I'm gonna go find somebody else to bother. Cyclone made a quick exit, deciding it would be better to explore than try and get to know this guy.
