the night was young, for her. a prowl through flowers of many conflicting hues; they didn't offer her the best cover... although her coat did a fairly fine job at that. underneath a cloudy, moonlit sky: her hunt began, not out of hunger but out of desire. cupping her ears outward whilst keeping her body close to the ground, she slunk slowly into a rhythm of motion. there weren't many other animals here-- just the usual field mouse as well as the fish in the stream, but they would do just fine. following the beat & patter of tiny paws whlist moving against the slighest of winds, her position prowling slow... slower... even slower... then out of nowhere, quick as a viper, her body swerves sharply to the left & with a quick pounce and snap of her teeth, a tiny little field mouse hangs betwixt her jaws.

she takes a second to recollect herself, the slightest of moments to regain her balance after such a leap and turns her attention towards her sister. a sly vixen, she was, although less diverse in color than herself the ashen fae was nothing less of a beauty in her eyes. akin to the darkness that is so feared amongst those unfarmiliar with it, sunday was one of the few who was aware of its secrets & kept them close to her heart under lock & key. she ambled over to her sister, dropping her catch in front of her paws before laying down, curling her body towards the glade as she lay. ,,you can have that, if you want,'' she spoke in whispers although the only two creatures around were the pair. ,,i'm not actually hungry, i just wanted something to do.'' she gave a slightly crooked smirk as she continued her speech with a chuckle.

Taking a stroll, Greyback wandered from the safety of Easthollow in efforts to stretch his legs. Being cooped up within a territory, albeit comforting, could easily lead to a wandering mind. He had left when the sun reached it's highest point, it's light shielding and protecting the territory around him. Although it was cold he much appreciated the warmth of the sun on his fur, it's heat seeping inwards and warming his body. Now winter, his coat had fully grown in, it's massive length framing him and making him look almost like a moving rock.

Catching the small noise of a voice, Greyback turned his ear towards it. It was an odd tone, one he had not heard before, and he couldn't help but lower his head and slowly walk towards it.

is this what it feels like for the triforce to be together again

As always, Tuesday was right by her dark sister's side. She watched from the sidelines with keen eyes while Sunday stalked a field mouse, muscles coiled and ready for action in case she needed backup. No words needed to be exchanged, for each twin was an extension of the other, always ready to assist if needed. But Sunday was a skilled huntress, and she snatched the morsel up with ease before dropping it at Tuesday's feet. A soft smile formed on her angular face, though it hitched into a crescentic grin when Sunday smirked.

Thanks, Tuesday murmured with a snicker, sprawling out on the ground beside her. She wasn't particularly hungry either, but Tuesday never passed up a meal — especially in this season. She took the mouse in her jaws, crushing it between her sharp teeth with several satisfying crunches before swallowing the morsel whole. Licking her snout, she added, Y'know, if you were bored, ya coulda just said so. Admittedly, she was feeling the same. With a mischievous smirk, she pounced upon Sunday, nipping and tugging at her ear. She chuckled, emitting a playful growl while she assaulted her sister's ear with her pointed teeth.

However, the sound of heavy footsteps dragged her out of the moment, and she released Sunday's ear to whip her head in its direction. Did you hear that? She whispered, eyes wide to scan the area for danger. Its footsteps were too muffled to be an ungulate of any kind, which only left a predator as the source. It wasn't dangerously close, but it was too close for comfort. Tuesday crawled off of Sunday and sat up to take on a more alert posture, eyes and ears on swivel.

not long after the mouse was dropped, her cunning sister took the fallen rodent in her maw and bit down. audible crunches could be heard as its bones crumbled in her jaws before she swallowed the morsel whole--giving her slightly bloodied muzzle a quick swipe of her tongue before responding to her. the duo were so connected, oftentimes words weren't needed to be exchanged in order to convery their feelings. sunday watched as a smirk crossed her sister's snout before pouncing onto her-- nipping onto her ear and tugging at it gently whilst playful growls escaped her throat. a chorus of gekkers emitted from the two as they playfully assaulted eachother to satiate their boredom-- before an interruption.
tuesday hopping off of sunday, her attention pointed towards the direction of a peculiar noise. a quiet thumping making its way towards them, sunday slowly rose from her position, keeping her body close to the ground. slinking behind her sister, a dark growl poured from her; she would have her head posed on a stake before she allowed anyone to hurt tuesday.
stranger has no idea what they're getting themselves into if their intentions are malicious.
,,be careful, twos.'' her voice quiet from behind her, the only words needing to be spoken. it would not need to be said that she had her sister's back, no matter what.

Peeking his head over a bush, snout emerging first and blocking the sun with his body, Greyback eyed the two creatures. They were foxes, similar looking enough with their wide eyes and black painted masks. He had never gotten to close to such animals before, and was amazed he was able to now. He wondered if they would run away in fear, or perhaps attack him.

Lifting his brows, he eyed them curiously, his tail slightly wagging behind his legs. A small smile painted his face, and he opened his jaws to say a "Hello," to them, his teeth flashing.

Sunday slinked behind her, but she knew it was to have her back. "Be careful, Twos," She warned. Decoded, the warning said: "Don't do anything stupid, Twos." Tuesday acknowledged her words by saying nothing at all instead of retorting something snarky like usual. Her heart thudded in her chest, pumping adrenaline throughout her tiny body. She stared down the bush concealing the beast with a fierce glare, rumbling lowly and flattening her ears.

Finally, the mysterious creature showed itself, and her heart skipped a beat when she saw it rear its ugly head from above a bush. Tuesday first thought it was a bear, but its features were too angular. Besides, bears should all be asleep by now (thank god). Well, this mountain of a wolf wasn't much better. Weirdly, he smiled at them — probably excited at the thrill of ending their lives and using their bones as toothpicks. Except... he never lunged for them, even when he flashed his ivory teeth, which made her jump.

"Hello," He greeted.

What the hell do you want, wolf? Tuesday snapped, voice harsh to hide her fear. Her hackles raised, plush winter coat fluffing up to make herself look more intimidating. She desperately wanted to run, but that would trigger his prey drive. He'd catch up to them easily with those long legs. She swallowed hard at the thought. Maybe he'd get pissed, but at least it'd be at her and not her sister.

whilst the bushes rustled, something burned inside sunday. seeing her sister snap in front of her, observing her body language; she knew all too well. tuesday's rumbling from the throat, a constant noise, growing in intensity as her body tensed up-- it lit something up inside her. a feeling not unfarmiliar to her, but a feeling she felt very sparingly. her survival instinct never really needed to be kicked in-- until now. she prowled about her sister, understaning her feelings & anxiety without any words needing to be exchanged.
it's a twin thing.
after what seemed like hours, a rustled bush & louder steps came to a close as what seemed to be a living mountain emerged from behind them. holy shit. sunday's pupils changed to a slit as her eys widened-- she had never seen something so massive in her life. with shaggy fur, the large animal walked towards the pair... her fur bristling up in self-defense. she continued to slowly slink from behind, observing the creature as much as she could. the scent it carried was peculiar but definitely canine. her tail bristled up into a mass of fur as she came to the stunning realization of what this creature was-- they were face-to-face with a beast of a wolf. the larger canine smiled at them, although it didn't seem to be insidious. she noticed his tail swaying lightly behind him, which perked her curiousity. what... does that even mean? his fangs a stunning alabaster, a greeting was given towards them which enticed the fire inside her to burn brighter.
her sister snapped at the wolf-- as she did, sunday sharply turned and sprinted closer to tuesday, worrying that her harshness would be taken as a challenge by the male. her sister's hackles fully raised, sunday's lips curled into whatever type of snarl she could muster from her short muzzle. she observed him carefully, watching, waiting, if this wolf were to make any sudden threats she would forcibly shake her fetters until she had broken loose.
she offered no words to the wolf; only the pleasure of locking her glowing gaze with his; unbreaking & unforgiving.
