All Welcome
For anyone who needs some help! The more the better ;D

He still wasn't quite sure what exactly had transpired, all he knew was that the wolves of Rusalka — his pack mates, at least for now — were injured and needed care! He wasn't a healer, far from it really, but the Blackthorn boy was a bleeding heart and wanted to help in any way he could. Okay, mainly he just wanted to appease the scary woman who had accepted him into their fold but he also wanted to help out and prove himself.

Through some miracle (and a few creative liberties) Lucca had managed to scrounge together a few herbs, though none he actually knew the properties of. He had laid them out on a slab of stone in the sand, where he now picked through them carefully with a thoughtful look etched into his boyish features. He stared quietly for a solid minute before giving up with a sigh — equal parts in defeat and sheer terror.

Did this pack have actual healers? If not they were boned for sure.

had it all been for nothing?
her leg had become stiffer in the days to pass; while the cuts along her muzzle and head were healing, the great wound rent in her haunch was saved from infection only by the seawater. the grace of rusalka's caches had kept the harlot alive, for she could not hunt in her present condition, and bitterness swept her heart.
she wandered the sand, hoping to exercise whatever strained tendons had been scraped by questing teeth; head down, gait tainted by a savage limp, erzulie did not immediately notice the boy.
it was the scent of greenery that lifted her muzzle, the bitter tang of herbs upon the salt air. then and only then did she notice the young male nearby, and looked upon the plants he had laid upon a stone.
"where did you get dese?" she inquired in a monotone when she had drawn close, eyeing the little bundles with relief crossing her features.

Gingerly, he turned over a particularly large leaf, trying to figure out ways it could be used before a foreign voice made itself known. Lucca's ears shot straight up and he twisted his neck to face her, nearly giving himself whiplash. Orange eyes widened after as he stared at the figure who had materialised beside him — a beautiful lady draped in honey and cinnamon, with peculiar duo-toned eyes and wounds across her becoming features. Heat began to rush to his cheeks and Lucca quickly turned back to the collection of herbs.

"Oh, u-uh, just outside the territory," he stammered, awkwardly beginning to rearrange the stockpile with a forepaw. "I went looking. I...I wanted to help."

erzulie did not notice the boy's blushing; she nosed through what he had brought, then fastened her gaze upon the young rusalka denzien again. "do you have learning of de healing arts?" the harlot inquired. "what you found is good. necessary." hissing a bit between clenched teeth, erzulie settled herself gingerly alongside him.
"if i tell you what to do, will you treat dis woun'?" she asked of him after a pause, mismatched eyes meeting the bright orange of his own for a brief moment. he was a pretty child she decided, dove-grey against the pierce of his gaze.

If she noticed his bashfulness, she did not draw attention to it, and for that Lucca was thankful — she seemed much more interested in the herbs he had scrounged up, anyway. When she turned back to him, the boy looked away again, back to the plants with a huff of laughter. "Well, I learned a little from Raven, but, uh, other than that, n-no," he admitted sheepishly, oblivious to the fact that this lady would have no idea who Raven was...for he was too distracted by her approval of his scavenging skills.

A wide smile spread cross his face and his tail thumped against the sand a few times. It was good! He had done good! Lucca's beam faltered slightly in concern as she winced and settled beside him, before turning into a curious look as she then proposed a task. "Oh, you're a healer!" he exclaimed, relieved Rusalka at least had one, even if she was injured herself. As for the task, however...

"Um, s-sure," he started hesitantly, gaze glancing down at the wound on her hindquarter. His stomach did a couple of nervous flips as a single, resounding thought ran through his mind — damn, that must hurt! However, any ideas on how to treat it would be up to the woman and her knowledge.

"yes, a healer. an injured one, but i can train you to be another." her offer was brusque, shadowed by the agony in her haunch. clearing her throat, erzulie let her eyes focus on the neat piles of leaves he had made. "dese ones," she muttered, gesturing with her lacerated muzzle toward a stem of longer-leafed herbs. "chew dem, and smoot' dem upon de woun'."
"be careful to swallow very little if you can; it will not hurt you, but numb your throat for a short time," she offered in warning, before falling silent in anticipation of the agony that was to follow.
