Her anticipation was building. And with another poke from Terrance, another shiver from her, it was finally about time to really get serious. She steadied herself and accepted his weight without too much of a problem. They were pretty close to the same size so it really shouldn't be an issue. She wasn't expecting to like it at all, but that little voice in the back of her mind had pretty much shut up.

The pause for a moment drew her ire, but when he spoke, that faded fast. And if he could keep talking like that she would totally be into it.  She gave him a much more alluring smirk, Arbiter Dokuga.

goodness! what a mouthful.

terance soaked the name in for a minute, lingering on where it might've come from or what it might've meant... but only for a brief pause, because there were much more important things to be doing right now. he found a bit of extra motivation in that look she gave him -- given the fact that terance had never seen treason look anything like that before. sheesh. now, having nothing to comment that wouldn't warrant a full on conversation, which was not appropriate given the position they were in, terance gave a low growl and let his teeth find purchase again in her thick scruff.

and then in was go time.

together still but lying in a more comfortable fashion, terance panted gently from beside treason. he gave a gentle huff, ears flicking, as he raised his head to get a good look at treason, curious what kind of emotions were going through her head. granted, he could never tell anyway, so it didn't matter so much now. he rested his head back down, and said, "that wasn't exactly my bargaining chip."

All things considered, right now Treason was probably pretty easy to read.  She was calm and content, even though more specific words would probably just seem weird applied to her. Treason's usual intensity had faded to a low burn, which might almost make her seem normal, but really she never quite was. Still, that might surprise him.

Her head lolled to one side on her paws as she just watched Terance out of the corner of her eye as she collected her thoughts and started to sort through them.  She'd enjoyed it, regardless of whether or not she was actually expecting to. Obviously though not as consequence-laden as it might have been in a few months, it still had the chance of changing things somewhat so she had to wonder if it would.

And honestly, she hadn't expected this to have been Terance's way to get her name out of her.  She'd expected something much more safe and mundane.  At his words, Treason smirked again.  Oh, there's more? she mused jokingly, moving so she could nose at the corner of his jaw, nestling her head there whether he liked it or not.  Right now she didn't mind the closeness.

the firecracker wore out -- for once in her life. as he looked down at her, curious, terance found he did recognize a few emotions -- surprisingly. certainly calmer, quieter, and maybe sated. his ears flicked, nose twitching gently. it was an interesting turn to whatever this game was that she played, and terance had only done it because he thought that's what she wanted. if we're being honest, terance only had one chip to bargain with, and it was so huge and detrimental that he didn't dare waste it on something and small as a name. to him, a little bit of sex was easier to barter with. "plenty more," he lied anyway.

except, of course, now terance had to try not to look at her like she was his world -- or something corny. it was so easy for him to get attached to anyone who showed him any sort of affection... or attention, more specifically. and the closeness something like sex provided really made it hard to not think of treason differently. but, after all, this was a casual agreement. if anything, terance was just putting out to show her what she was working with. and terance had already decided he hadn't wanted to go through the whole relationship thing again.

oh boy. just stop thinking, terance.

as she nosed his mouth, nuzzling herself against him, terance licked the top of her head. he didn't mind the closeness -- terance never did. a heavy sigh fell from his maw as he allowed himself to relax against her, more certain now. at least now they'd maybe be tired.

Either way, she was now a lot less concerned about several things.  Not totally thinking something couldn't go horribly wrong and leave her in the lurch, but just... Less so.  It was probably a secondary reason for why she was positively serene now in comparison to usual -- booting a pile of uncertainty into the fire would do that.  That plus the romp they'd just had obviously didn't hurt either.

On Treason's side of the equation, she didn't much care.  If Terance was adamant about not doing any actual relationship-type thing, she was okay with that as long as he kept to his word.  After all, Treason didn't think she'd get wrapped up in any sort of one-sided thing, that just wasn't her.  Of course, who knew if that would remain true, it's not like she'd really cared about romance in either of her years of life, so maybe she was secretly an idiot.  And if he changed his mind?  That bridge would be crossed when it appeared, but as long as she got what she wanted, then it didn't seem like a big deal.

She took his words at face value, Mm.  Good.  Impress me.  Treason preened at the patch of his fur that was basically right in front of her nose for a moment or two before stopping and tucking herself a little bit closer, not that there was exactly much space to begin with.  She closed her eyes and unless he kept talking, she probably would end up just dozing off.  It was late, and now probably the best choice -- kept her from ruining anything.  Though when Terance's tongue swept across her crown there was a quiet growl that was probably easier for him to feel than hear at this point.  Just a little Treason purr.

the rest was quiet and unquestioning. there was little to no pillow talk between the two wolves, just a bit of midnight grooming. the noise -- vibrations -- treason gave off were something amusing to terance, maybe a little cute, but he didn't find the work appropriate paired with treason of all wolves. it was something else, for sure, but terance found himself feeling a little honored he got to experience this side of her.

eventually, he'd doze off into a heavy sleep, sated and warm in her company.

but, he assumed, back to the usual tomorrow.
