All Welcome
Enough days had passed that Treason was sure that it would be very clear if the bear was still lurking and they weren't just getting muddled up in old scents.  Hopefully with winter rearing its ugly head they wouldn't have to worry about the damn thing for a few months (or maybe it would just die in an avalanche, that was acceptable), but she wanted to make sure.

And so, Treason set off into the Downs.  It seemed kind of ironic that she was yet again looking for bears next door, but this time, she was really hoping to not find any evidence, as opposed to the 'HAH, I told you!' factor that had come with the Vale.  It was already fairly late in the day, so she wouldn't be wandering too far, but hopefully a good distance past where Rannoch was attacked at the very least.  Confirm the bear was gone, maybe grab a snack on the way, head home.  That was pretty much the plan.  Her path was a broadly-stretched serpent, doing her best to make sure she hit as many likely trails as possible.  Her steps were careful, placed only when she was sure she wasn't destroying a track.

It wasn't going to be the fastest process, but it needed to be done.

Aerasha, once more, was skipping out on patrol and hunting duties. Rather she didn't even have a thought about them, as the lass was in her own world on how life works, and doing both of those were usually not on the list. Maybe once in a blue moon where she thought it was time to play a proper pack wolf, but today was clearly not that day. She wandered off, most likely to Brynn's disapproval, and a sighing Greyback, but she took no note of any of the Easthollow wolves dislike to her easygoing nature. No one really knew if she was aware, or simply ignoring the fact, for all anyone knew she was just an eccentric female.

Though they weren't the only ones who didn't have a too positive view over her oddity, but she continued on in a friendly matter despite that. While simply wandering a bit, her nose had tracked a unique, and familiar scent. One she knew of, and with a widened smile, set off to find it. There was a plan, to meet this said scent, but alas, it was not meant to be when she visited the territory, and instead met others. Though the skies seemed to bless the Princess, as Aerasha sashayed herself over to seeing a familiar figure, "Heeeeeyyyy.~" A soft and playful smile crawled to her lips as she greeted Treason.

So far she wasn't finding anything.  That was a good sign.  Theoretically.  Too little information meant that she had no idea if the bear was just lurking slightly beyond their range.  She didn't want to actually find the bear.  She wasn't suicidal, she had no desire to go off on some sort of bizarre quest for vengeance for her fallen packmates.  That wouldn't make sense, after all.  Instead, Treason continued prowling along, searching for some sort of concrete answer she wasn't entirely sure what to do with.

The voice she heard immediately grated on her nerves.  Great.  It was that damn woman again.  Could the bear show up?  Could she just summon the bear and have it eat this bizarre wolf that now seemed to be haunting her?  She slowly looked over, sourly dreading spotting Aerasha not too far behind.  Treason wasn't going to wait, and her response to the Easthollow wolf's call was merely a sort of affirming grunt that acknowledged her presence.  Maybe she was worse than the bear -- trying to murder Treason via abject annoyance.

Aerasha was unaware of the annoyance she caused- though no one knew for certain if that was truly the case. She acted like one that was on a certain substance, or hit in the head when she was young, many seemed to find there was just something wrong with her. She didn't mind their opinions, as her atmosphere was all flowers and enjoyment as the soft fae skipped slowly her way on over to Treason, a playful smile hanging upon her lips while looking at the other with her bicolored gaze.

"How youuu dooiing?~" The other didn't seem to want to interact with her, but Aerasha attempted to catch up and inquired on why she was here. She enjoyed talking to the Lost Creek Hollow Wolves, and did not want to waste the meeting by wandering back to Easthollow!

She still didn't look up, continuing to skim the variety of scents for the evidence she was seeking.  It wasn't here, but she would just make sure.  Just in case.  What would drive her away?  If she was boring would that work?

Treason wondered if she could shock the woman into something vaguely rational.  Probably not.  This chick was nuts.  As such, she made the conscious choice to answer a slightly different question than she was actually asked.  Her tone was fairly flat and matter-of-fact, I'm tracking a bear that killed someone.  Okay, maybe in a roundabout way that was kind of answering the question asked as well, but eh.  Depended on interpretation.  Either way, that was definitely not flowers and butterflies, so if that would work, Treason was sure that she could dredge up some other ammunition to keep Aerasha at bay.

hello!!! sorry how extremely late this is, i took a break for a while and now trying to get back into the groove!
i can continue posting despite how late this is, or we can close it? aaaa

"Oh noooooo," Her voice sounded exaggerated as she expressed her gloom over the bear attack. Though remained unknown if true or not, as she remained rather breezy as she asked, "thoough the resstt fiine, yeaaah?" And turned back to a smile. Treason seemed fine, as she still was serious as ever and diligant. Aerasha completely ignored the annoyance most held for her.

"Oohhh, but a bear. They're biiig, but furrryyyy.~" Her ear twitched as her eyes glanced upward in thought, taking a moment to search through the memories. She remembered the bear from long ago in her puphood, and thought on how big they were compared to other canines. They also seemed to be thick, be it in fur and in muscle, they were large and strong, "I met one onnceeee.~"

I'm fine with going or archiving! Whichever works best for you. I'm on short tablet posts for the next almost week though.

Okay, her being worried or whatever seemed even more irritating than her being aloof-but-happy. Treason had been hoping for a single word answer and maybe her rethinking her attitude or something. Oh well. Well enough. Rannoch would heal, from the sound of it, and she didn't want to invite Aerasha to show up to pester him (or Terance, in his state). Still, things going ok would change in the near future, but that wouldn't be due to a bear.

You probably don't want to meet another if you like being alive. Ok, sure. Treason had also met a bear that hadn't tried to eat her but it wasn't like she trusted the creatures at all.  Anyone who did was a fool.

Aerasha was blissfully going on and following the other, despite the obvious annoyance her presence seemed to be causing. She was making quite good impressions toward other packs, though not like her own pack Easthollow, found her attitude to be quite 'off.' Even toward a dangerous animal, like the bear, she was acting as if it was a cute bunny, "buuuttt," the fae went on, "theyre coooool, anddd, biggggg. Buuut they doon't like to plaayyy.~"

Okay, at a certain point she'd had enough.  Was Aerasha actually just a child?  Was her brain messed up so she'd just not grown up, mentally?  Treason stopped, looked right at the Easthollow wolf and said flatly, They're not to play with.  They will kill you.  Try to play with a bear and your packmates will be finding what's left of your corpse.  She expected to have to say that kind of thing to a pup, but Aerasha was definitely an adult as far as Treason could tell.  Did her packmates realize this?

She nodded, one would think she understood with the sudden serious agreement, before bursting back into the dopey, usual grin, "Riiiight? I met one onnceeeee, he didn't want to play.~" Aerasha acted as if it was a fond memory, despite being a rather horrific event. She remembered when the noble ranked pups used the excuse they wanted to 'play,' and the whole ordeal led to meeting the mass amount of muscle and fur. For them, they were most likely scarred for life, but for the fae, she counted it as a simple trip to the past. A trip though, that left an unfortunate permanent engravement.

Treason just stared.  Aerasha was pretty much beyond belief.  She was some bizarre caricature of... Treason wasn't even sure, she was just that far out in space she was out past the Oort Cloud.  However, the Creek wolf wasn't exactly the type to mince words, especially in this sort of mood and responded rather bluntly, I honestly can't tell any more if you're just that daft or just trying to annoy me via abject stupidity.  Also thank evil she didn't have to deal with her every day.  Small blessings for everyone involved.

She had better things to do, why was she even tolerating this?

"I'm just trying to be frieenddllyyyy.~" She had a face, almost like a puppy begging for a treat. Aerasha wanted to be friends (probably) with the cool deputy of the hollows, as their pack in general seemed like cool kids. She changed back to the lethargic, mischevious look as she continued on talking, "it's booooring walking alooone, y'know?~" Even her own packmates, often found her to be odd and seemingly uncomfortable to be around, but she continued to amuse herself with them nontheless.  Though majority usually stayed within the territory of Easthollow, being far too loyal to take a simple walk outside.

What a bunch of good boys who needed some pets. Maybe Treason needed a pet... Though Aerasha was certain she would get bitten, if so attempted.

Aerasha was changing the subject, avoiding what Treason saw as the real problem.  Sad looks didn't work on her, she'd metaphorically gotten her teeth into something that annoyed her and she wasn't about to let go.  Maybe other wolves would, but not Treason.  The guardian continued to scowl, You want to play with bears.  Do you not see the problem with it?  You've got a deathwish.  And she wasn't going to just stand there.  She needed to make sure the bear wasn't going to endanger the pack any more and so started walking again, trying to move on so she could find the track she wanted, with or without her.

Honestly she was hoping without, but things didn't go that way.

"Theyre biiggg and coool, riight?~" They looked like wolves in a way, but thicker, and pudgier. Had the best schedule too, some would eat and then fall asleep, which Aerasha would adore to have. Though alas, she has duties! Duties she never does, anyway, "It's fiiiineee,~" Her general fear that most wolves had to such a monster seemed relatively absent, nonexistent one would say. She was all in smiles, and simply talking as if it was a toy cat whome wasn't fond of their caretaker, "buuut they don't like wolves.~"

The only one she met, caused a rather nasty scar to the side of her.

No, she said flatly. "Cool" was not a word to apply to bears.  This woman just didn't give up, did she?  Treason gave her less of her attention, focusing on the ground, on the track or lack thereof.  Maybe if Treason talked less, Aerasha would get bored and leave.  But just to grate on the Creek wolf's nerves, she seemed to just keep repeating the same inane, illogical things. Bears want to kill you, and will.  Seriously, if she said this over again, Treason might just snap.  She had no time or interest in dealing with some other pack's kept-for-pity member.  Not worth it.

Aerasha was an easily amused creature, she would find a way to make the day pleasant, even if the other party did not think so. If one talked less, she would fill with her own voice, therefore annoying her companion even more. She was quite oblivious to the annoyance she was causing, and continued on, "I knooooowwww," she sounded like a child, as their mother lectured the same old, "but they're coooool.~" However she kept on, thinking bears were, and are quite cool. Despite the fact they left a scar on her poor arm, she continued defending them!

"It's saaaad they just want to kiillll.~" It'd be great to have one as a companion, that didn't want to tear her face off. Alas! It's not meant to be in this time.

This chick was just some sort of bizarre cyclic-thinking disaster.  She had approximately two thoughts at a time and neither were attached to reality.  There was no point arguing because even the most reasonable reply seemed to just pluck some other nonsense out of the ether.  The hell was she supposed to do?  Maybe Aerasha needed a chaperone to keep her from running off and trying to hug dangerous animals or something. Either way, it wasn't going to be Treason, so she shifted her focus to trying to be rid of her so she could finish her search while being able to focus.  I don't have any more time to argue it.  There's a bear somewhere out here.  It kills people.  Perhaps you should go home.  Though honestly she didn't think it'd work.

And she was right, it didn't work, "Awww, butttt, it's loneellyyyyy out heeree.~" Treason was quite keen on focusing on the task at hand, but shame to shy she would have to amuse Aerasha for the time being, as the soft fae continued to trod alongside her. She didn't really want to go home as it's soooo peaceful there, too peaceful that some days were just far too boring. She couldn't pass this up when a Lost Creek wolf was off to find a bear!

"Whaaat, are you gonnna dooo when youu find it?~" Aerasha dreamed Treason was off to find a bear, and like in tales, the knight would slay the beast to save the Kingdom. Though realistly was most likely making sure the tracks were away from the valley, but the other thought was far more entertaining.

Why couldn't things be easy? She didn't look up as she continued to sweep the ground for scents,  I'll be fine.  I'm not looking to find it, just figure out where it is.  And I have no interest in trying to rescue you if you find it and make some ill-reasoned attempt to make friends with it.  Just go home.  If I find anything I will let your pack know.  Did she have to actually have to turn around and yell at the woman?  Because honestly, she was at that point pretty much.  Just let the damn guardian do her job and things will be fine.  Maybe Treason should have just stayed home herself.

"Ooohhhh, so you'll visit?~" Treason was not having it, as Aerasha swarmed her like a bunch of flies and followed along on this task at hand. She only wanted to be socciiaaal, but with the words 'i'll let your pack know,' gave the soft fae a little joy. It was the assumed hope that perhaps it was meant she would come to visit! She tried to visit Lost Creek beforeeee, but only one appeared, and so she eventually skulked back without seeing the two cool wolves.

"I'll seee you theeeeen.~" Only then, did Aerasha actually start to turn and lead away with the thought process she would see Treason later. Well, if the other didn't come to Easthollow, she sure in hell gonna expect a visit from the lazy Princess.

Blink. Yeah that wasn't what she was suggesting at all. Maybe she should just hide in the territory until someone more interesting caught Aerasha's eye. She really didn't want to encourage her so didn't really have much to say.

In all honesty, Aerasha leaving probably was more of a relief than Treason finding the bear was long gone.  Her own brain now felt like a tangled ball of yarn as she watched the Easthollow woman wander off.  Oof. Was the bear worth this?

She'd continue her search a little longer before heading home to check on the pack, to keep looking the next day.
