Her limbs were aching and her paws were cracked, but her body was still being driven along by that incessant urge to roam. She was coming to understand that it was not any scent in particular she'd been catching on and off on the wind; she was just looking for something. Whether she knew what is was or not was anyone's guess, as Moorhen certainly wasn't telling.

But she was ready for the search to be over. Ready for this whole business of her burgeoning fertility to be over so she could set aside these wild urges to roam and get back to her island already. She didn't want to be away from Undersea, and yet, she could not seem to stop herself from visiting the mainland over and over again.

Regardless, having gotten her fill of the west, Moorhen now travelled eastward up the coast, finding herself in the field where she'd once run into Poet, and once into a pale, crying girl who'd made her very uncomfortable. Finding that she was rather uncomfortable at the moment as well, Moorhen decided once and for all that she did not particularly like this field, and began marching back toward the coast with a rather purposeful stride -

- only to stop and stare when she came across the half-frozen body of an aged moose. Moorhen had rarely seen so much meat in one place, and could not help but gape at the sudden bounty.
