Carp was new and still adjusting to his surroundings. It was weird to know he was part of a pack and yet, hadn't been doing much except for getting some small meals for pups and whoever really needed some really. His mind was content there though. He was now hunting for himself, his stomach had almost growled in anticipation. Oh, how the look of the rabbit he was eyeing with had made him hungry. A lunge, a small sprint, and a snap next and the rabbit was dead. The sound of tearing flesh was enough to show how empty his body was of food.

Soon, he was full and Carp was on his way back to see who needed his help. Maybe he should put himself to work and learn a new trait. The thought was tempting, but who would want to teach an old dog new tricks? He had no clue, but he was willing to learn. It would keep him busy and give him some work to do. Maybe he would see if anyone would teach him about herbal medicine? That would be interesting to learn, especially if it allowed him to help those who were sick. He looked up at the cloudy sky in thought, stumbled over a tree root, and fell flat on his face.
