All Welcome
Traveling alongside @Parvati had been a blessing in disguise, and Deimos cant help but feel melancholy as they part. It had been good to have company, but it hadn't lasted, and now he was alone in the wilderness again with no more directional energy than a tumbleweed.

He sets south, keeping the terraces at his back as he goes. It's decent going; the ground is soft and loamy, there's not much snow, and every now and then he gets a lilting reminder that spring is on the way by the favorable brush of wind. After a while he forgets he had ever done anything but travel solo, and he finds himself humming a quiet tune as he ducks under briar patches into Bramblepoint.

she wasn't a big fan of forested areas, not liking the feeling of being so enclosed and her muscles would seem to simply beg to be let stretch out and run the moment she knew she couldn't. nevertheless if one wanted to truly explore they would have to get used to all types of terrain- it wasn't really adventuring if you only stuck to what you were comfortable with. she had to admit though, there was definitely one benefit to letting her roaming paws carry her here- the place was laden with treats. strawberries and early blackberries provided sweet snacks for the golden girl and she took to them heartily, tongue swiping around her creamy muzzle and staining it pink with berry juices. however she was so focused on scavenging the fruits that she failed to notice the treacherous tendril snaking away from its clump of bramble until it had wound itself around her paw and with a start and an instinctive tug she'd find herself tripping and falling quite ungracefully and a "what th- FUCK" would fall from her jaws in a panicked shout.

but no it didn't end there, as if luck had already bit her in the butt already she had tripped on a slope and so now she rolled down said slope- still too stunned to get a grip as she flailed to a dusty stop at the bottom. and oh just you fucking wait, there's more! because guess where she'd ended up- right in front of a dark pelted boy. scowling, she'd pick herself up off the ground and shake out her now pretty bedraggled honey coloured coat. now ali was never one to give in to feeling embarrassed so it always went one of two ways- her being a bit of a pissed off snarky bitch about it or just passing it off in a more good humoured way. lucky for him she leaned towards the latter and gave him a crooked smile. "well i certainly know how to make an entrance"

There's a bang, and then there's a whirlwind of noises. Clatter, racket, shake and roll. Deimos is forced back, lobes sweeping forward as a woodsprite materializes from the din, robed in thorns and bramble.

He's startled, but not so much that he's hostile. It takes a few seconds for him to collect his bearings as he looks about him, catching onto the fact it's not a woodland sprite but a wolf that's suddenly entangled beneath his legs. He steps back, freeing a dewclaw from the snares Ali had brought with her. She's smiling, at least, but Deimos still feels on edge. "You okay, chief?" His tone is not all-together judgmental, it's more playful than anything, but he can't help but feel concerned for the stranger given all she had just went through. There's a punch line or two here that comes to mind, like 'did it hurt when you fell from the sky', but Deimos doesn't dare utter it even if it hangs off of his tongue and in his smirk.

understandingly, he seems a bit perplexed upon her initial arrival but lucky for her it seems to ease itself into more of  an amused demeanour. her head bobs up and down as she nods off his concerns. "never been better" she'd mutter, although wincing slightly as she shifted her most likely now bruised frame back onto her haunches. now that she's more comfortable she lets herself properly take a look at her newfound company. he's not bad looking, sporting that 'dark and brooding' look quite nicely with his night toned pelt and quite captivating red eyes. what was it with these teekon wolves all having such interesting eye colours? she'd come across purple, pink and now red. not that she was complaining, let's just say she had an appreciation for beauty and tended to have less motivation to interact with those she deemed to be...lacking it.

she's vaguely aware now that the tumble probably didn't do her any favours and rather than exactly feeling self concious or anything, she merely feels irritated that someone is seeing her at anything but her best. however this then leads her to realise she's thinking like her parents wanted her to and that was not right at all! she could be as dirty as she liked. and so the girl embraced her dusty appearance with pride as it was her decision to remain like this and hers alone. lifting her chin, teal eyes would fix the boy with an almost challenging glint to them for a few moments before deciding that he didn't seem like he was going to attempt taunting her. a soft breeze whistles through the trees as her wispy tail flicks to rest at creamy paws. "so anything in particular bring you here?" she'd ask conversationally, head tilting to the side in a quick bird like movement. "i mean aside from hoping for a pretty girl to fall at your paws" she cannot resist adding almost slyly, little grin tugging at her slender maw.

Admittedly it's not every day a pretty thing comes tumbling down to his feet, so when Ali smiles Deimos can't help but reciprocate it now that the challenging glint in her gaze has faded. The initial alarm has worn off, and he's much more settled so his grin is anything but contained.

"Who's to say that's not exactly why I'm here?" Deimos' eyebrows raise, canting in a flirty manner that might be borderline absurd. "Looks like it's working so far, isn't it?" He can't say he's had this happen before, but life is extraordinary with the way it works, and he's not exactly complaining about his present company.
