Hunting thread #3 — maybe @Aditya?

Juria had been struggling with sleep in this new space. She wasn't accustomed to sharing her space with so many wolves since leaving her lack pack behind, although it was a trait she knew she could shed if given time. For now she basked in the starlight — loitering along the river's edge at a particularly deep point, so spacious that she couldn't see the opposite bank because of the shadows and distracing susurration of the water.

The graylight reflected off of the fast-paced water, glimmering as it rippled and swept across immense stones. For a while she watched it, contemplative and tired after a day's worth of tracking and studying within the woods. When she finally found a space large enough to accomodate her bear-like figure there was an eerie fog drifting along the fringe of the river; the sky had begun to darken with extra layers of cloud, and she smelled rain on the way.

things had settled, finally, and the woman was content in a way she had not been in a long time. she knew not yet if new life stirred within her, nor what the future would hold for the pair, but she was comfletely comfortable in her ignorance. the land was strung with hope and laced with novelty; it was an environment that allowed her to feel more comfortable here than she had in her first few days at the Hollow, through no fault of them.

she stopped the other girl easily enough, and with a chuff drew herself alongside the woman, a few tail length's apart. she was almost dwarfed by this woman, something rare for the woman who stretched towards the tall side of average. "I hope I don't interrupt." she offered, and at the other's word she'd leave her be if she so desired.
