Ravensblood Forest x. home is a language you grew in your mouth

The span of a few days recuperating within the standing expanse of steppeland would see new additions to their nomadic band - the autumnal, soft-spoken femme, Padma, and Condatis, the northborn Crow. Though the exile would have preferred to linger longer and allow them to settle more firmly amongst the other members, she'd detected that the area was one oft frequented by the nearby packs - a thought that urged her north, lest they grow territorial about an unestablished pack consuming the area's resources. 

Twilight was hours yet to come by the time she called their proccession to a halt, determining the sheltered coniferous forest to be an optimal location to prepare for the trek to the sea. 

The celestial-pelted fae turned as their group stuttered to a halt, allowing her one-eyed gaze to roam over the varying faces before addressing them at whole with a gentle grin, "This should make a good resting place, we might stay a few days - so everyone has a chance to replenish before we make for the sea."

"I'll head out soon in search of some food if anyone would like to join me," she offered. She'd have a better chance of filling everyone's bellies with a group but perhaps the journey had weighed harder upon her comrades.

Connor and Lokie have found themselves with Rhaella once again, and the small group that they have gotten somewhat acquainted with. The titan male looked at his friend with a playful grin, he wanted to make sure his friend was still happy with the circumstances that they were in. The traveling group found themselves at the coast, Connor's emerald gaze scanned the area, the winds picked up and rustled with his fur, he didn't know where he was but he made sure to stay with Lokie and the group. He was surrounded by the woods, a good place to stop in his opinion, therefore the group has time to catch up. His ears perked when Rhaella spoke, she told the group that they would stay here for a couple of days so that everyone could gain their strength for the journey to the water. We are going swimming soon? The man blinked in his own confusion, but he realized that was not what she meant.

The sparkled she-wolf then said that she was going to explore the area, which piqued Connor's interest, "Lokie and I wouldn't mind tagging along with you," he offered to her with a polite tail wag, "if you wouldn't mind that is." He finished, respecting her space, he looked at Lokie with a bit of excitement. He loved exploring especially with his best friend, he gave a small tail wag and an eager look to his friend, hoping that he would oblige to the offer.

A cameo or something

He had been glad to become acquainted with Rhælla and her group. They'd be a good place for him to find his feet here and make friends before he decided to make his own pack. As hard as it may be.
Naturally, he'd intermingled with his pack-mates with his kindness but not as a subordinate. He wasn't about to be pushed to the bottom of a pack. He was never nasty about his ways though.

He gave the one-eyed woman a nod. Between them, they'd have a full set of eyes. He grinned at the thought. He came up beside her, though not exceptionally close, and gave a warm grin to Connor and his partner.

Lokie was exceptionally pleased with how his luck was turning out in these new lands. He had met Connor, his BFF, and it seemed like every few days they met a new wolf that joined their group. He followed Rhaella without question, his nose picking up new scents as they travelled. He was constantly zigzagging as they went along, looking for things that interested him. He never got too far from the group, though. 

When they arrived, his ears perked as Rhaella announced they would rest here for a few days. The spot bordered the coast, and only one thing came to Lokie's mind. Stay away from the eight-legged creatures with claws! They hurt, he said matter-of-factly. Lokie was volunteered by Connor to go hunting with Rhaella, and he nodded eagerly. He was always up to do anything with the pack. 

Lokie, always full of energy and ready to go, began prancing around the area, and ended up by Komal. The other male seemed quiet, but Lokie didn't need words. He was adept at reading body language, and while the male was kind, Lokie knew instinctually to respect him. So, he didn't playfully body-check him like he might have Connor. But, he did try to give a quick nose poke to his side before leaping off to Connor's side.

Rhælla smiled gratefully, tail wagging a welcome tune as the three males gathered at her sides. She paused a moment - waiting for any other participants - before facing the men fully. 

"Well, no use in dawdling, I suppose," she quipped with a humorous grin, gesturing for the trio of males to follow her into the forest - leaving the remainder of their party to rest. 

As the Veltigar padded along a secluded game trail, she turned to her companions with inquiries regarding their methods and skills - the quartet formulating a plan to work to their advantages and bring in as much food as possible.

weh, short post

Connor beamed, he looked at Lokie with eagerness as Rhaella gave them an approving smile as another male had joined their party with a welcoming grin. The titan returned this grin with a welcoming smile and tail wag as he was excited that someone else was tagging along for the ride. His emerald gaze was full of light as he turned back to Rhaella and followed her out of the area that they were in. The cinnamon male was ready to get started and do what he can to help his new friends and hopefully new companions. He stepped out of the temporary camp and was ready to use the skills that he has acquired and put them to the test.

It had been a little bit since he worked with a group but he was determined to make sure to not only provide but protect his group from any danger.
