All Welcome
praimfaya grows emboldened as the moons pass by, patrolling the borders first at @Blodreina's side and then, foolishly, on her own. perhaps this bravery is the fault of her mother calling her wanheda since she was born and reinforcing what it means. it is not just a title. wanheda is her and she is wanheda ...and linkon the voice of the first wanheda though quiet most of the time reaffirms what she is. she is capable of understanding now what she is meant for, what blodreina grooms her for. praimfaya eyjolfur kom diaskru. she tests the formal name out on her tongue, despite that diaspora does not follow traditions of praimfaya and blodreina's people. regardless, diaspora was considered a kru regardless and she likes how it sounds rolling effortlessly off her tongue.

praimfaya's steps falter, ears cupping forth atop her skull, attentive, as she realizes that in her contemplations she's auto-piloted through a whole section of borders and turns sharply to walk the northeastern border again, this time deigning to pay more attention. she spares a glimpse at the early morning sky to gauge the weather, velveteen colors of night streaked with pale citrine oranges, candied apple reds and candyfloss pinks, pleased to note that there wasn't a cloud to be seen.

The man had grown bored and desired to travel to see if there was anything worthy of his attention further south. He knew he'd find packs but not this many. Which intrigued him. Why were there so many? Were there large families that had to split apart because of food shortage? Why not move to the north?
He frowned, crouched in shadows.
He'd followed the river that spilled from the mountains, curious and now aggravated a pack had made a claim here.
He wondered if he could gain access, just to see, under the guise of wanting a treaty.

He watched the youth make her first pass. Wondering why they entrusted an oblivious girl to border patrol. Did they need members so badly?
He waited and was about to call when she came back.
He grinned and stepped closer, the grin vanishing into the folds of darkness that lay over him.
"What is this place called?"
He called out, not wasting his time.

praimfaya doesn't actually expect to find anyone at the borders — a loner judging by the lack of any definable pack scent. eyes of frostbound silver settle cooly upon him as the wanheda maintains a safe distance within diaspora's claim, lip curling in visual warning as he takes a step nearer. he, that is cloaked in shadows and demands to know the name of diaskru's claim. he makes his demand in common and wanheda cannot help but dislike that he makes a demand without offering anything in return. that was not how this exchange of information worked and though she is young she is not ignorant.

your name and intentions at our borders first, tripa. praimfaya makes her own demands with an imperious rise of her muzzle, stare unrelenting. if he could not exchange the common courtesies of being at their borders then she would offer him no information in return.

His gaze narrowed at the mere child before him. So it seemed she'd met a number on her borders, but she still had a mind of a child where her imagination would easily wander from her duties. She'd been instructed, though. He could see that much.
The pack may be low on numbers, or perhaps she were a free spirit that they could not tame and this was as close to freedom as she got.

"Sedulous Sahira. Scouting."
There, his name and intention. He wasn't lying at all, for Sedulous was one of his names. He was known within his borders as Earp, therefore outside he had to have a different name. To protect the Family, of course.
His black eyes gleamed softly, watching her like he were a raven eyeing a carcass, calculating if something dangerous would come by to snatch him up.
He wasn't in the mood to fight today. But he was always willing to cause chaos. His life was meticulous, pristine. He raged havoc for others, though.
To have one of their young go... missing in the night. It gave him a lot of advantages.

she knows she is young but she also knows that the ever vigilant wanlida is never too far away. the pretense of being 'alone' on the borders is just that: a pretense. a show of her mother's trust in her capability and an opportunity for praimfaya to experience independence whilst trusting that the shield of diaspora's claim will protect her. sedulous sahira is followed very shortly by scouting. well fossopa sedulous, praimfaya says speaking trigmmon — a combination of common and trigedasleng though for the sake of her companion is favors common — with a withering look of frosted steel. i am praimfaya eyjolfur kom diaskru,

praimfaya offers her full and formal title, savoring the way it tastes rolling off her tongue, savoring the way it sounded as it lingers upon her ears. this is diaspora. she makes a minuscule gesture to the territory at her back though her gaze never wavers from his shadowed form. what are you scouting? she asks, wondering ...if he was scouting what interest a pack's territory might hold in that regard. he would not be welcome to pass through ...so was it someone specific he sought? she wonders.

She spoke strange words. He could do that too, though. So he did.
"What language do you speak, berniuk?"
His head canted slightly. He was not the only one with things up his sleeves. Though it is highly unlikely anyone outside his Family will speak Tsis.
Her name half sounded like this foreign language, if it were her name. Praimfaya Eyjolfur something or other. He smiled softly, wondering what her lineage was to get such a title.

She asked what he was scouting. Wasn't it obvious, insolent child?
He sighed harshly through his nose.
"Packs. I wanted to see the lake but your claim is on it."
He was one for scenic views if it included his work. Which it did in this case.
He continued staring, thinking. Wondering what she was thinking.
Then, he stepped forward a bit. He almost wanted to see how devilish this one could get. "I'll escort myself."
It was almost a test, to see how they trained, how quickly and a personal test on how firey this child could be.

it is called trigedasleng, though why it was of any concern of his was beyond her, unless he was one of them ...but he did not speak trig. the foreign word that he spoke to her was as unfamiliar to her as she guessed trig was for him. packs. did he seek then to usurp? his harsh sigh earns him another withering and frigid stare.

caution, wanheda... praimfaya watches as he steps closer and her hackles bristle along her spine, lip curling back to reveal her sharp teeth. no. she tells him briskly, body taunt, the word coming out in a low rumble. she would engage him if she needed too though she is not foolish enough to think she could take him alone. a quick howl and she could — and wound — summon any of diaskru to her side should he press.

his 'scouting' intentions, praimfaya realizes quickly, are not as pure as she first assumed them to be. no respectful beast would antagonize anyone upon the borders regardless of age, not if they were truly looking to join.

His low chuckle came at her no.
It was a demand. Perhaps she was the spawn of the Alpha here.
"As you wish," he murmured, stepping back a few more paced than he'd advanced and sat. He wouldn't aggravate her more. Others were likely close anyway.

"Forgive my urge of curiosity."
His smirk hinted his teeth, then folded them away again. Returning to the stoic face he held naturally.

"Does your language originate here, or elsewhere?" He was curious. Tsis came from the Ancients and was brought on from the Sahira's. He half wondered if she'd tell him to go away after his move.

though her command brings forth a low chuckle from the male that makes her skin crawl, he heeds it. no matter how brave or fierce a beast, wanheda, it would be suicide to draw the wrath of an entire kru onto one's self. linkoln tells her somberly, leaving praimfaya to wonder if he is explaining why the stranger heeded her command or to caution her against making a similar mistake in the future. would linkoln be corporeal instead of a whispered voice of the first wanheda she might've scoffed as she assures him she was not so foolish; alas he is not and so she does not.

forgive him? not likely, praimfaya remarks. she would remember his face and remember his name and she would seek out the gargoyle or basilisk to warn them of this stranger ...but he did not trespass and when she bid him to he obeyed; nevertheless she doubts he would care. he doesn't really put out the vibe that he cares what anyone thinks of him, though perhaps her impression is wrong. you will find no weakness here. go find somewhere else to usurp, tripa she thinks.

he returns to the conversation of language, inquiring about her's. elsewhere. though she sees no reason why where 'trigedasleng' originated was of any business of his. nevertheless, she doesn't withhold the information ...what could he possibly do with it?

The youth held such fire. He gave her a macabre grin in response to her denial. He could turn dangerous, and they'd both be gone before anyone could see.
"I'm glad to hear you are strong. Is this pack all of your blood?" A familial pack was stronger than one consisting of strangers pushed together and working together with little to know about each other and fear of each other.
He wanted to know what place may be best to cause his havoc.
Likely a place that wasn't of family.

It interested him that her language came from elsewhere. He wondered how old it was, how many generations spoke her tongue and why was it's originators moved. Well, could be many reasons but still intriguing all the same.

his smile was grisly and every instinct in her body tells her not to trust him. she was weary of tripas as it was ...and distrust was something that blodreina drills into her repeatedly; but praimfaya was more diplomatic than her prickly mother and not so quick to distrust. perhaps it was youth or nativity or confidence built around how blodreina places her upon a pedestal. she believes that her bloodright as wanheda will always be her armor, her shield and her sword ...and perhaps it might be one day but that day was not today nor for many days to come yet.

his interest in whether diaspora was a familial pack or not does not, admittedly, raise alarm bells. it was a fair question, all in all. outsiders would likely not seek to join packs that consist of nothing but blood nor, likely, would they be welcome. no, she responds cooly. but that does not mean we are not wonkru, she thinks to herself. should i call for my general? she inquires, her turn to test him now.

The no sent waves of solidifying interest and gladness over him. This Diaspora place was perfect for him.
Then she offered to call her general and he immediately stood.
They shouldn't have notion a scout was here.

"No."
He suddenly stepped closer, imposing on her space in a swift movement.
His voice became a sharp hiss, any semblance of the semi-passive man was gone, "Tell no one."
He didn't stick around for fear of her starting to retaliate as soon as the shock wore off -- or perhaps she was pricklier and had already snapped his flesh in her jaws -- but he quickly backed up again, the youth attached or not.

Depending on if he was being attacked depended on his escape.
If the youth were attached to him, he'd certainly start to fight her off. If she sat there dumbfounded, he'd trot away at an easy pace.
Though if she'd called for someone he sure as hell was about to hightail it out of there.

no, he replies drawing nearer. praimfaya lets out a low warning growl as he encroaches on her personal space. her hackles bristle again and she snaps her teeth at him though he draws away before she can make purchase. tell no one. as if she had any intention of listening to him. she was wanheda and he did not tell her what to do. ban au. she snarls her command at him in trigedasleng assuming that her body language and tone will be enough to communicate what she means; though whether he retreats because of her command or because he does not want to stick around while she summons @Blodreina — which she promptly does with a tip of her muzzle and a rallying call for her mother — praimfaya doesn't know and does not care.

he is gone, for now, and she fully intends to make the other guardians aware of him — despite that it would cost her the freedom of patrolling the borders without a sentes ( or rather an adult, period ) at her side.
