she's searching the lake shores for something interesting, but her frustration only continues to mount the longer she comes up empty-pawed. she knows the boredom Drago must feel, and hopes only to mitigate it with some toy or interesting bauble she might offer him.

she inspects the dried hulls of a cluster of @Rowan berries with scorn before moving on, feeling oddly agitated today. she pauses by the lakeshore to drink, brow furrowed as she glares out over the water.

He'd returned to the woods, relieved to be in its arms.
Though, he kinda wanted to explore a little of what else was around him. He supposed it was useful for him to at least know should he need to find someone.
So he wandered out with Stone floating in the skies above, watching for dangers as he wandered along the river. Before long, he came to the source; an expansive lake.

A form was perched on the edge, pale. He moved closer.
He'd not met one with a white coat who'd done his harm. Did that mean his Mother was a danger? Possibly. She took him into danger when he could've been kept safe.
Hela was different; she didn't have a white coat.
Tundra and Maegi were the only two he felt he could trust fully now, moreso than his Mother.

"Hey!" He chirped, trotting up to the girl who was clearly older than him, but not really an adult.

the call that sounds from behind her has her twist, hackles at half-mast. but she diffuses somewhat when she's faced with a boy, her age, and she offers back a somewhat more reserved, "hey." just because he's a kid doesn't immediately put him on the not-fuckers list, and so she fires back a "who're you?" and what, exactly, did he want from her?

She seemed defensive, causing his fur to prickle in a warning should her defensiveness turn into hostility should she think she could hurt him. Girls were always mean.
But she calmed, to his tail waved softly, a small grin on his face. Surely this would be ok.

"I'm Rowan. Where'd you come from?"
He didn't know of any other packs nearby apart from the Nightwalkers, but they were different. They didn't have the smell of his borders which his scent. And the scent drifting from the girl wasn't the same. So she must be good.
