The dissolution of her home has not escaped Bronwen's attention, nor is it beyond her understanding, though to any observing the girl it would seem that both of these things are true. Unaffected, the pup has finally taken to her childhood duties of exploration and experimentation with dedication, if not any of the youthful joy typical of her peers. @Phex has become little more than a ghost to her, same as @Valour and Laroche, and each day she wanders further in search of something... new. Something more. But the plains hold little of interest to the pup, and she finds herself growing agitated with the lack of stimulation. She settles under a small tree eventually, glancing out toward the coast and wondering what lies beyond the hills. She will not press further today, though, wary of drawing Phex's attention to her; she has already decided that she prefers when the woman has no reason to be concerned with her beyond necessity.

The contract involved food and land, now that Cry lacks one of them, the Bull dissolves it. He has no need to chain himself when part of the bargain has been snapped. Thus, Shadewood is left in the dust, and the Bull has no lingering attachment to it or its people; not unless they wish to throw the aged mercenary a bone.

His wanderings have not gone far from what remains of the Keep, but soon the Bull will branch beyond. The coast, however, is his domain for now. He spots a child huddled underneath a small tree, the Bull almost turns a blind eye. Familiarity grasps his attention, and lured by the possibility of a fight with her parents drives the beast forward. He does not harm children, least he must, so the Bull merely approaches—intimidating bulk striding with his head aligned with his shoulders, and tail raised equal with his spine.

Once he reaches the child, he lowers his muzzle, giving her a sniff-snort in greeting.

She sees the other before he sees her, and recognizes him immediately as the silent man who had captivated her prior to the dispersal of Shadewood Keep's few remaining members. She expects her presence to go unacknowledged, as it had so many times in the past — but it seems this time is different somehow, in the absence of their former bond as packmates. The girl is completely still as he approaches, expression as impassive as ever, but there is a new glint in her gaze. She regards him silently for several moments, finally reaching up to sniff him delicately after a brief stretch of silence.

The whelp is still, until courage returns to her small frame and she greets him in the same mannerism he had. Inferno eyes narrow to slits, amusement sparking briefly. It is rare to come across an individual that speaks his language. A half-raise of his lip reveals his teeth, no real threat for it's a lazy motion—a warning, as a lion would to his cub.

With one heavy swoop, the Bull flops his impressive bulk before the child, laying comfortably in her personal space. His legs crisscross.
