All Welcome
Aure was meant to return about a week ago, and she hadn't. As much as they'd argued over the past moons, she still was the mother of his children, and Vercingetorix was worried -- for her and for them. How much more could the pups take? Her absence was bound to have an impact on already fragile hearts and minds.

She wouldn't just leave -- right? She said she'd come back. Why would she leave the kids?

She must be hurt, missing, dead. That was the only way. The only answer he'd even consider. To think about any other outcomes. . .nah, fuck that. He wasn't considering any of those.

Verx howled for @Evergreen, @Ira, and all others who might be able to track her down. The wilds were becoming more volatile, more dangerous. He couldn't leave his kids, not with Aure gone. . .but Kaistleoki protected its own. They had to at least check and see if she was at Moonspear, right? They had to try.

Although the rumbles became a constant, their power recently has grown. Some enough that the bear must brace himself, and it leaves Eve on-edge, as if he is expecting something terrible around every corner.

He jumps at the summoning call, heart racing and fur standing upon end until his brain registers the source. Dawn had returned before Aurë, he wonders if the trip to this mysterious Moonspear is longer than anticipated, or if she is delayed by these tremors, too. He does not want to think of worse off possibilities, and has a feeling this is why Verx is calling for him.

Approaching the Knight, he slows his pace. Sir Vercingetorix, he greets. What's up?
Working on wrapping up current threads!

His ears twitched at being called 'Sir,' but Verx otherwise didn't indicate his amusement, smiling instead at the leader and dipping his head. Hey, Evergreen, he responded casually, his voice without a trace of the worry that had been there before. Better to start off calm, right?

He scanned the area briefly for Ira before continuing; they could catch her up if she got here later. Aure was supposed to come back a few days ago. She's not here. Seeing that the earth seems to be going crazy lately. . .I'm kind of beginning to worry. He lifted his chin, frowning. The kids need their mom, and Kaistleoki can't afford to lose numbers.

Vercingetorix shifted with a sigh. He'd much rather go look himself, but that was his mentality of always needing to just get shit done rather than delegate. He knew he couldn't leave Drago and Isi. Can we send a scout to Moonspear? Keep an eye out on the way, see if she's stuck or hurt somewhere?

In the end, he just ended up doing it him-fucking-self. RIP.
