@Aldric -- other tags for ref! || Evening, 11˚ Partly Cloudy

Restlessness had kept her from seeking @Eastwood out for the night and she opted to roam on her own for a bit. Admittedly she had not had time to explore everything just yet. She was sure of one thing already though. The place almost seemed like a safe haven. Perhaps that wasn't true, maybe the edges of the lake would give way or perhaps even here would become inhabitable. But there were positives! Water surely meant a bounty of food for @Nirali, along with swimming for East.

Despite her positive findings there was a worrisome feeling still mounting in her chest. She could not hold back the heavy sigh that escaped her.

Thank you for staring!

It is surreal—sticking in one place again feels like a dream come true, although Aldric worries as much as the next guy in their group about the strange happenings. Razikale’s rage grows stronger the closer it grows to the day of the Patron’s celebration. Rumbles last for a concerning time, and he hears loose rock tumble from the nearby mountainside often.

Despite this, he is at peace—home with the people he cares for most.

He is on patrol, working his way back to their encampment when the heavy sigh captures his attention. Dark tipped ears swerve first, before he peers through the darkness at the familiar form of Eleni. He hasn’t had a chance to talk with her one on one since their return—Aldric captivated by Nirali, and Eleni fascinated with Eastwood. Funny how the two are similar in that regard.

»Eleni,« he greets, the tip of his tail wagging briefly. »Troubled?«

Concern was swept off her face when a familiar voice rang out to her. There was no mistaking who it was as she caught sight of that ruddy collared neck. Always. She teased back with a brief songbird laugh escaping her before she fell into something more serious. Razikale seems restless, no? It felt useless to ask such a question for surely he had noticed it too. Any creature would know! For even the prey had fled to find safer grazing grounds. Had she been human she might have rubbed her temples in contemplative thought.

But how could she ignore the positives? Sure the world was falling apart but — I'm glad you made it here okay, though. And I think congratulations are in order... She flashed him a quick smile as the tip of her tail swayed with unspoken excitement. Marriage was always in need of congratulations! Such a joyous thing to happen during such turbulent times.
