All Welcome
Slowly, slowly, Valiant was becoming accustomed to the family's presently transient lifestyle. He was a bit quieter and more withdrawn than he'd been in the past, but that was largely because of how tired he was at the end of each day. The adults were all capable hunters, and Valiant was learning fast how to stalk prey and take down smaller animals, and even how to held during larger hunts — but there was not much to hunt these days, and even less, it seemed, along the route they were taking.

But what little of his family remained was together, and for that, Valiant found he had something to be grateful for. He was — not quite happy. It was difficult to be happy when one was hungry and afraid, and missing his home and his brother and even his mother still sometimes, just a little. No, he was not quite happy, but he had come to accept that this was a phase they were all going through, and that no amount of being bitter about it would change things.

All that to say he was not in a terrible mood that day as he looked down into the gorge. Earlier that day, Easy had told him and a the others that'd been willing to listen about a boy she'd met here who thought this must be the earth's buttcrack. He was trying to picture that now, and found himself wondering if the earth was a boy or a girl.

They were no longer in the willows, this was a place that the pup had never been before and she was a bit scared. Everyone she knew was scattered and the faces she had grown accustomed to were gone. Except her family of course and she was at least glad they stayed.

She saw her brother and the young pup didn't know whether or not he hated her. She had felt that way before but she was unsure. Minnow slowly walked up to him letting out a shy and quiet. "Hey..."
