All Welcome
Vallkyrie left meadow after prairie after plains behind within the flatlands, a drive for shelter beckoning at her. The Phantom Hollow had been her first introduction to the woodlands which the Teekon Wilds offered. Unempressed, she moved north and after finding safe passage over the river, came to settlement within these lands. Not a beautiful forestry by far and yet, an interesting place to venture.

She scented more packs nearby - all around. Two, three?? She'd already scented two to the south which she had come and it was very obvious by now this land was large and teeming with wolves. Though destruction had recently passed and winter was coming, surely the Teekon Wilds was a place worth being if so many packs were here.

Kyr would keep her distance yet still, unwanting to disturb. Though she had traveled all day and as night fell the land grew colder. Vallkyrie deserved a good warm bath to ease her muscles and nerves from her journey. She tip-toed to the edge of a large, steaming pool and though she wrinkled her nose to the pungent smell here, was excited for the bath.

she lingered betwixt the pools, the warmth a balm to tired muscles. the desire to sink into one of the pools was great, despite the stench of sulfur; but she knew she would only regret it when it came time to leave the water behind. no, she would be satisfied with drifting between the pools, half-hidden by the steam they threw up.

she becomes aware of the other woman easily enough; she is a shadow among the fog, wavering at the edge of the pool. the wraith pauses where she is, watching lazily. she is unwilling to head near, nor reveal her presence quite yet, curious to watch for a moment. when she is content with her observations does she allow an easy, "hail," to slip from her maw, remaining fixed as she watches the woman.

She lingers on, a paw lifting and placing easy into the water at her ankle. A heavy breath takes her, the heat of the water soothing her ankle and sending a wave of warmth up her tired legs.

She lifts her icy eyes upward then, taking note of the ghost amongst the mists, her golden eyes aglow in her direction. The shadow is still, stricken in her placement as she is caught off guard. The other woman greets her and Vallkyrie answers. Hello, her icy eyes move down to the large pool of water before her, then back up to the wraith. Another wanderer here to ease her bones?

she judges the stranger to be no real threat, and the heavy heat softens her somewhat. "hm," she murmurs, a gentle affirmative, as she reclines onto her haunches, observing the woman from where she sits. "where do you wander from, stranger?" conversation, however menial it may seem, had the potential to offer valuable information should one ask the right questions, or encounter the right wolf. it was the want for information that drove her to engage, rather, the simple fact that solitude was not well endured for long.

The dark shadow meets ghost. Golden eyes of the wraith locking on the icy color of Vallkyrie's own. She murmurs her answer and settles, her whisper flowing like the mists around them. The wraith's sitting position and relaxed posture allows her to know the woman meant no I'll intent. So, Vallkyrie steps slowly into the steamy pool of waters, an exhale of pleasure escaping her lips.

Far southeastern from here. A place called Torbine. Though Torbine was large and grand, their bloodline extending far beyond just their own peninsula, Kyr did not expect her to know of it. And how far have you traveled to get here? Vallkyrie questions just the same, her body lowering, easing into the shallow, hot pool.
