for @Tundra <3

Wickedly beguiling.

This was the only way in which the silencer could portray the landscape of the ridge - treacherous peaks clambering desperately toward clouds of ash, rugged slopes of stone slipping from vociferous heights. Heinous both in appearance and nature, so nefariously bewitching. And yet, deep within the graves of rock, life waited to burst - with spring, he could predict the revival of the lakes, the spreading of emerald as plants resumed their steady breathing, and the world would be painted in colour once more.

For now, though, winter had only just begun.

A single diaphanous snowflake burst forth from the monochrome sky, coasting down to settle on the rough surface of his nose. Aries exhaled. The delicate creation was dissolved immediately, as a hot breath coursed through his jowls to escape into the evening’s bitter air, and his lips quirked as though with tainted satisfaction.

This world, in all its meaningless cruelty, was enthralling.

In the passing of no more than a moon or two, he’d been witness to yet another fall of blackfeather - and with it, the death of his littermate (a second starborn of same-blood), and the withering of all that he had grown alongside. Perhaps not peculiarly, his mind and his heart, they lacked solicitude. It was a shame, of course, but he knew from experience that from the falling of one kingdom would come the birth of another. His path, it was coherent, led to a new course, one plunging deep into the unknown.

And so, he continued to scale the unforgiving peaks, smoky figure drifting between shadows of gloom.

Tirelessly seeking.
If I cannot bend Heaven,
I will raise Hell.

*screams*

motionless; it could have been hours or mere minutes, time had slipped from her grasp the moment she had settled on the precariously steep rise of one of the teeth that glared down on her home. her body did not shiver nor twitch in the oncoming gloom despite the frigid air settling deep into her bones and the sky threatening another onslaught of snow. she herself could be mistaken for a mound of the chilling substance, or, if one peered closely enough, the dead form of one who'd succumbed to its frosty bite. yet the faintest rise and fall of her chest expelling that little flicker of warmth would betray her real status as one of the living.

eyes; darker than the shadiest night in the current gloom; rest unseeingly upon the vale. from here it was just a soft blur, or perhaps it was just her eyes unwillingness to focus. she didn't want to focus on anything, she didn't even wish to think. yet her stupid, stupid mind refused to be silenced! the more she wished it would the more it seemed to clamour in response. an inner wince, ignoring the want to let ears flatten tighter against her skull for there was no point; why waste any energy on such a fruitless movement. nothing would ever shut these thoughts up, she would have to listen to them forever. there is something darkly terrifying about that, silence was a hoax. one could never truly find it as long as they lived, it just never appeared to be noticeable until the noise that accompanied you everywhere wasn't what you wanted to hear. then it was suddenly extremely obvious.

perhaps if she never left this spot, could she do it? remain as still as the earth itself until everything would begin to dim and the noise would get softer and softer...until nothing. she truly would be as stilled as the lifeless substances surrounding her. yet no, her mind was too wired to accept such a fate. it would never grant its host such a wish.

she almost sighs but it never makes it to the surface, lost somewhere in the abyss of her soul before meeting the real world. lucky it, the real world was not all it was made out to be.

she does not hear the soft movements of her shadowed obsession, oblivious to the proximity of the one thing that could perhaps spark something within what had grown so dull. all she could hear was that stupid noise.

*screams back*

Tundra.

His steps slowed.

There was something so hauntingly ravishing about the way she lay there, still, refined in solemnity. So unforgivingly enrapturing, as the moon stroked tender fingers over the curve of her back, and controverted eyes looked on in their silent rumination. She appeared just as she had before; that lissom ghost, willowy and seraphic.

But why was she here, now, mere paces ahead of him? The Svartell’s eyes drifted unwittingly over her nimble figure, drowning in contemplation of his own, and he pondered briefly whether he ought to slip back into the nefarious tenebrosity from which he came, or slither onward like a serpent in claim of his prey. It was ironic, truthfully, as even he could not discern which of them was the prey; perhaps both, perhaps neither. Something about this delphic woman, with her silken disposition, it drove his skull to a whirlwind - meteoric turbulence to unbalance the suave, imposing nature of his being. Perhaps that was why she lingered so euphorically in his thoughts, the most compelling of poisons.

She’d poisoned him...

But he wanted more. He always wanted more. So forward he strolled, insouciant in his demeanor, arresting in his posture - the picture of nonchalance; the controlled grace of a spectre. As his body aligned itself beside her own, keen eyes of lambent ice peered down in search of her gaze, blackened lips parted to release the sonorous timbre of his voice.

“Are we always going to meet like this?”
If I cannot bend Heaven,
I will raise Hell.

it seeps forth an unstoppable force, wrapping tender claws around her motionless being and growing in intensity until one might fear it may crush her to death. yet it appears to have the opposite affect on the seraphic fae as the sluggish thud of her heart grows quicker; sending forth a rush of hot, liquid life to fill iced veins as ears swivel back to catch the soft sound of each footfall. the air twists closer still so that she struggles to inhale past the palpable awakening of the death around her. eyes do no shift, sharp in their darkness as they fix stubbornly towards the vale. sounds, at that moment it is enough as she focuses on his approach. He, Aries. icy fingers trail up her spine at the proximity until finally;

“are we always going to meet like this?”

the faintest of smiles trace her delicate muzzle, gaze still refusing to grace him with the intensity of her frigid glare. yet more for her own benefit than his, she must not let herself indulge too wholly in what stands by her for fear that in such a state she could not hold back from overdosing. instead, she focuses on his scent now; nostrils flaring to take in every little bit of him. smoky and earthy yet now tinged with the sharp air that whipped cruelly through the brazen rocks that protruded from the earth to claw tirelessly towards the expanse above. rosencrantz had uttered such a similar greeting only days previous and the soldier finds herself momentarily stuck on that. oddly, it is thoughts of the honey eyed soldier that draws her gaze to finally give in to what it sought and dance precariously across his frustratingly debonair features.

wordlessly, for it seemed the two reigned supreme in the art of electric silence, tundra gathered paws beneath her small frame and stood in one fluid movement to face him. the air cradled them now in an embrace that tundra could not decipher as warm or cold; it resembles the level of intense heat that sears you so bad that there is a moment where you believe to be chilled before it does its full damage. another trepidatious shiver runs unwelcomed along her spine as she takes in the sharpness of those icy orbs once more; drinking them in with such intense greed that she is surprised she does not swoon. lips part as a salmon tongue runs slowly over pearly fangs before murmuring with lilting smoothness; "no it seems you're destined to trail hopelessly after me for the rest of your days"

his presence makes her feel more like herself than she could recall feeling in a long time. no less than the thrill she sought to feel when in the thick of battle; aries' mere presence acted as a drug in itself. doubts and frustrations at what her life had become could fall away when she stood before her starborn temptation; there was no future or past at that moment; simply the present. yet she was not quite so stoic as before perhaps, too many shattered walls to ever remain quite the same and perhaps that is why she goes on to break the silence once more with a throaty purr; "arieseyes flash, daring him.

A smile; pulchritudinous, especial, concocted with ribbons of tenebrosity so very alike the divergent pools of her eyes - bewitchingly double-sided. Her svelte figurine pivoted, twisting toward him as though she was a panther, born of the snow - a blizzard; hazardous lioness, and he watched with ever-augmenting interest.

He could not quite decide if she was carved from the fathomless depths of a glacier, or from ribbons of coruscating stardust. It would be fitting, would it not, for a pair born from the constellations to be unwittingly drawn to one another? He met her gaze steadily, eyes glistening with reflections of mottled grey from the skies above - pools of serrated ice, glittering in their luminescence. Her own were just as they had always been in his memory - withstanding and resilient, yet lit with a candle of cloaked warmth.

Aries would not have minded allowing his vision to dance dangerously along the surface of her own for seconds longer, but her lips parted and to the wind she cast him words - words, that caused his lips to quirk at the corners. A rumble of his chest signalled a chuckle, of all things, gravelly and deep. It fled his throat like a grumble of a tempestuous storm, brewing upon a monochrome horizon, but it was fleeting. Intermittent; rare.

"I had taken you to be skeptical of destiny."

Still he watched her, bathing in the strident sweeping of the wind. But when she purred his name, eyes locked upon her own with a new, vehement intensity, tongue sweeping across his incisors with titillating slowness. His options weighed heavily upon his crown, thoughts to be flipped as a coin - but he already knew his choice, for it was empyrean unto his lips. "Tundra," came the thrum of his voice, husky and low, drawled out in deliberate ardour.

A single stride sealed the distance, so that they were breathing the same air once more.
If I cannot bend Heaven,
I will raise Hell.

icy claws stroke her spine in a velveteen caress at the touch of his eyes. so luminescent in their ethereal blaze, an otherwordly flame in their ability to scorch you with shards of the purest ice. how could she not shudder at their contact. the tilt of his lips draws her closer; the beautiful predator, like the fanged drinkers of blood from fairytales. so enticing, built to draw you forth until they could strike through the bliss and do what they wished without the slightest of struggles. oh how delightful it was. yet as seraphic as tundra may appear with her fleeting glimpes of pearly fangs whilst a salmon tongue sneaks leisurely across, she too could be accused of the same predatory tactics as he. none ever spoke of a story where both drew the other in with unspoken promises and delights- who struck first? and who was to fall prey if neither had been assigned that role initially.

the rumble of his chuckle, breaking the frigid air like a clap of thunder as it ecompasses her form. so powerful of her to draw that forth, like causing the very earth to shift; his stoic demeanour could not thawrt her. a true smile graces serpentine features now as he is quick to pass back a returning comment. the slightest of movements tilts her head to the side whilst a laugh seeps forth; treacherously soft and lilting in nature whilst it wrapped smoothly and daintily about any that may witness it until in a position that it could tighten in intensity and do as much damage as the most ravaging of roars. "your obsession and destiny are nowhere near the samevoid orbs grow animated with a wicked twinkle as they follow the precise movements of the mere swipe of his tongue. once it delivered her name, she felt utterly liquified as she drank in each syllable of the drawled uttering with that raging, insatiable hunger.

ectasy poured forth as his brazen stride crushed the air between them until all she could inhale was Him. never before had she felt such a drive, such a roaring need to be fed and at that moment she was not fearing the idea of being prey to him; she had utterly fallen prey to her own desires. no longer did she care to deny herself what she craved just to entertain some competitive whim between them. a paw snakes forward to pull unabashedly closer so that all that lingered between the contact of seeking jaws was the most infinitesimal fibres of electricity.

Her laugh; modulated, nebulous velvet - paradisiacal to his mind. A sound so pleasing, that perhaps he felt it deep within the cavities of his chest, as though he'd taken a sip of some celestial liquid, golden sublimity, and from such an amalgam birthed a numbing sensation, senses lulling into a sweet daydream. Aries could focus only on her, now, as the wind had died out within his skull and the only thing upon his vision was Tundra.

"My obsession?" Obsidian lips twitched into a half-smirk, observing with allured gratification as she danced a step closer to him, where her body seemed abut to his own - tantalizing enticement. "And what of yours? Or... is it that you would rather I take my leave?" A secondary low grumble of amusement, reverberating from the depths of his chest, but he made no gesture to move - no, he was concrete in his position as a statue; carved from the abysmal pits of the earth, locked in place with taut chains, chains unable to rupture.

He would not move so long as she stood before him; divine in her deportment.

Pockmarked muzzle etching forward, a single heated breath released from the cavern of his jaws, lips gliding to the fringes of pearlescent ears. "You," a growl as heavy and profound as that of a volcanoes warning; thick with unspoken danger,

"...drive me insane, Tundra."
If I cannot bend Heaven,
I will raise Hell.

oh how she trembled in the electricity of such proximity. yet her body did not shudder with fear of weakness; it was power and it wove with such strength throughout the confines of her vessel that she would not be surprised should it burst free and obliterate the two in one blinding flash. from stars to ashes, together. eachother's undoing. how was it that something so morbid begged her to continue forward; fill a space that no longer even existed. it was not fair, how could she quell such dissatisfaction; such insatiable longing if she there was no more air to fill with her presence. she was at the edge of this ledge, there was nowhere else to go

unless....she jumped

eyelids flutter as coy smiles trace slender jaws whilst her neck cranes back to deliver whispered words right into velvet ears; "i would really love to see you even trypurred forth like the softest lapping of crystalline lake waters against a pebbled shore. the hairs around his face sway at the touch of her hot breath and she revels in getting to be in a position that she could be the cause of such slight movement without even having to raise a paw. yet it is his turn to affect not what lies bare for prying eyes but the inner powerhouse of this strung body. ears lean back at the heat of his breath; trying to protect what lay within but to little avail as it engulfed her so that she burned. a soft breath hitches as the husk of his voice growls, each rumble reverberating within as her chest echos back a low rumble; like distant thunder before that strike of brilliant lightning. the air definitely seemed tense enough to deliver something of such an entity as his lips drift with tantalising tenderness along the periphery of shuddering ears.

and the actual words he spoke did nothing less to render her as solid as a block of ice under the brightest star of all; the burning sun. she held the ability to rid him of his sanity and in turn he had liquified her entire being so that she sought to fall into his form and swallow him whole. a soft noise flutters betwixt grit fangs as she tilts back and reaches up so that her muzzle caresses the crook his neck whilst a cool nose trails along his lower jaws. "show meit slips forth a hiss, wrapping gracefully about them as she pushes on with burning intensity "just what that insanity can make you capable of ariesher tongue wraps hungrily around his name before setting it free to settle within his ears, drive him to deliver what she so craved. she wanted him, every inch of his body, his soul and she would not be satisfied unless she got exactly that.

Mature Content Warning

This thread has been marked as mature. By reading and/or participating in this thread, you acknowledge that you are of age or have permission from your parents to do so.

The participants have indicated the following reason(s) for this warning: swiggity swooty

She trembled.

Tundra's frame quivered with the potency of their draw - galvanic, binding; analeptic in intoxication. As though drugged, his body hummed with euphoric anticipation, caught in this web, these crystalline threads coalesced by the hands of the warrioress alone. Enthralling, hypnotic wraith of frost.

Purred, taunted - that is what she did, incentivize his mind, his body too. Dark-feathered ears shuddered with her words, and the power of their bearing, and eyes of rimy hues dove into the pools of her own, where feigned heat met solid ice, the coalition of elements. Fur of his cheek did waver at her breath, dusted in the lure of her threaded lattice, the snare of her mesmerizing trap, and he allowed himself to bathe in it - that gossamer web.

Tundra, his mind growled.

He wanted her, this sylph, right in his palms, clutched close to his body - but a heat was growing, fire stoked in the pits of his belly and further, consuming all that he was in the burn of two sacrilegious words--

--"Show me."

That was all it took. Ravenous fumes drove the engine of his mind, where the heat finally devoured. Muscled body steadied her own, this liquified goddess, who's elysian bait was swallowed whole - he cared not for consequence, and vibrated in hunger against the crook of her neck. Down, did his lips trail, igniting fire as they went, this burning kiss of demand. Heat, as he trailed her neck, to her shoulderblades, and more, along the curve of her spine, and to her hips, with the tantalizing slowness of one who sought to tease, to hold her in her wanting for as long as he craved.

Behind her hips now, caught aflame in lascivious yearning. For seconds, he lingered, hovered just out of reach, in coveting closeness, as if to bury her further within himself and her desires, before his weight met her own - his forelimbs draped and then held over her waist, should she allow, and their bodies would fuse with the impetus of their games, but greater.

Unrestrained; fervent. Of empyrean, and impure.

If I cannot bend Heaven,
I will raise Hell.
