Look, Zane was a nice guy.  A really great guy.  He was all about a woman's right to choose who she banged and all that shit, and he'd never fuckin stalk a chick or any weird creepy thing that ugly dudes had to do to get laid.  Zane was a fuckin stud, he didn't need it.

But when he came across @Dhalia's trail near the Caldera, traveling with some other dude who seemed similar, was it so bad he wanted to make sure she was okay? Check in with a friend and all that shit?  No, that's what nice guys did. Fuckin Good Samaritan shit.

He tried not to make it obvious, though, as he trailed through the caldera's forest and up the side a ways.  This was a pretty cool spot, if a little funky looking.  He took a quick sniff to make sure he was still on target, then looked around. Weird vibe though.

IT IS TIME :D

She'd taken a break from @Jasper to do a bit of exploring on her own - which meant, of course, simply scaling the most perilous cliffs she could find around this place. You'd never find anything cool by stickin' to the ground. Who knew what kinds of caves and crannies she'd find up here? Probably something no wolf had ever found before, not even the ones who used to live at this Caldera - which was, unfortunately, now very, very empty.

But, in secret, Dhalia didn't mind that there was no one here but Jasper and herself. She'd never had the same fascination with this place as her brother, maybe because she didn't bear any of this once pack's namesakes. Maybe because she was more out for thrills than sentiment.

Dhalia took another careful step forward. To her left, the cliffside. To her right, a drop that would probably kill her, if she wasn't just as smart as she was a daredevil. She'd been on a ledge this thin before, never with her parent's consent, nor her brother's. Another step, and a patter of rocks dislodged and tinkered down the steep slope of mountainside.

Instictively, the Ostrega stole a swift glance to her feet, and the empty space so near to her toes. Only, someone familiar caught her attention...

"Hey! It's you!" hard to stay still and safe at the same time; she perked her ears and straightened her neck, that Wolverine man might glimpse her, and recognize her, too. The chance they'd simply happened upon each other again seemed absurd, which left one conclusion. Dhalia wasn't afraid to call him out, "You follow me all the way here, Daredevil?" Her words danced down the mountainside, and a smile quirked her face, raising one brow with it.

Cameo

Jasper had been absolutely gutted when they found the caldera and no one was there. No pack, nothing. Jasper needed a bit of a break from his wild sister and went to explore the lands, but in a different direction. Jasper was looking at the lower cliffs. Maybe he could find an old cache from his mom or dad. Or any other old scents. He was still curious. Even though, he did need a break from his sister he was still in howling distance if she needed him.

Oh fuck.  Whazzat!?  He called, looking around like a fucking idiot before realizing where the voice came from.  Ohhhhh shit, it was her!  Cool. It was pretty much a given he'd run into her considering he was... well, following her.  But it was still pretty rad he'd pulled it off.

Awuh shit, hey!! Nah, better believe, Zane finds his own way.  He lied, but he gave her his best dashing smile anyway.  You are never going to fuckin believe who I ran into though!  Little dude who jetted with the food, left us holdin the damn bag! He rolled his eyes.  Dude said he had kids, though, so whatever.  Zane had not concept of the fact that Penn hadn't been nearly old enough to have kids.  The lie flew right over his head.

What're you doin way up there? He asked, as if suddenly registering the fact despite staring at her, on the cliff, these last few minutes.  Shit, that did not look safe.
