He had entered the Wilds with @Deidra by his side. They were wanderers, it seemed. The Faerie Court had removed them. He would've been bitter, but he couldn't bother to care- the one he cared about most was by his side, was she not? As long as he stayed near the gentle flower, he would be fine. She was home.

Of course, she knew none of this. How could she? He was only a friend. Just a friend. But it was alright- the poppy seeds kept him fine. He could still taste them in his mouth now, just coming off from a high from several hours before. He would need more soon... but for now he pauses his aimless traveling, halting to a stop and turning to the lovely cloud. Do you want to rest for a while?

he was with her, her friend, the one that did not allow her to travel alone. she was grateful for this, truly. without him she would probably be a mess, something that would jump and avoid all contact but with him she felt a little more grounded. she did not have to be afraid, did she? and must she not forget her sister was here too, the beautiful Aoibh.

as they traveled her mind seemed to wander, moving from on subject to the next as she thought of an adventure. it was just the three of them, Fionn,  Aoibh, and herself. the court had been her home, their home. her life, their life but now she was out here. at least she had him, at least she had her sister, at least they got to experience this outside way of life together. in this dream she felt she had butterfly wings of her own, shimmering a pale silver with pale traces of gold in the sunlight. no, not gold. a dull color to match her eyes, maybe? what would Fionn's wings look like, would they be silver too? perhaps they would have intricate patterns in an ink black like his markings, maybe they would be ruby like his eyes? she was sure hee sister would have brilliant emerald wings, ones to rival a queen, but what about Fionn?

his voice came then, shattering her illusion of fairy wings and glittering dust that would trail them. she blinked a few times before she turned her periwinkle gaze to him. "hm?" she game a sound of question before his words fully registered, "a rest, yes, are you tired?"

If she had bore the thoughts her sister shared about the druggie, she would actually exert her contents, sidelong of their current path. Though, the company of the two kept whatever warmth that flickered weakly like candlelight alive, pluming the leaves of the vine. She was still irked by the Court's banishing of them, as she liked to dub it. Her eyes, that glimmered not unlike those of the luminous period, sketched the the plains, still feeling missing, off put;

lost.

She had the mind to never mention such things to her Deidre, especially Fionn (who was high on poppy seeds) who she disapproved of slightly, but could not condemn him for committing his body to aid Deidre due to their excursion from the motherland. They could never understand the inner turmoil that reacked her mind and senses, not be wanted yb your ow family to make way for some babes and lone barbarians. Maybe their home, but not hers any more, she would slightly hate the Faerie Court, her ménage
, for casting them and making them waifs. Her mind let the words of Fionn slip in into her own (practical and not boy admiring) daydream.

Aren't ye going to ask me the same, Finny boy? she snorted with a half hearted contempt.

Voice like the words of an angel, gentle and feminine. Just hearing her speak had his heart fluttering, but soon he felt embarrassed by her words. Him? Tired? Fionn wouldn't let himself be seen as weak, no- he ought to be the strong one, yes?

Before he can answer, the voice of her sister knocked him out of her trance. A snort, and she calls him Finny boy. Annoyed, he gives her a half eyed glare with a snort of his own. Who said I wasn't askin' you too, Aoibh? He huffs, though silently ashamed that his bias had slipped. Then he turns ruby gaze back to Deidra. I'm... not tired. But if you are, I just wanted to offer...

doc don't mind her rambling, her obliviousness to fionn's drugginess. Also,  didn't know what color green you wanted Aoibh's eyes so I called them emerald.  Let me know if anything is off here loves

when their eyes met, periwinkle to ruby, she saw the reminence of her daydream. a glimmer of wings fluttered on his back, where they a dark silver, maybe ruby in tint? sadly they faded before she could get their color, her focus came back to the present as she spoke her words. an answer to his question, but not an answer, another question. she could tell he was a little wary, perhaps the poppy seeds she had seen him take just hours before had worn off. they were a harsh set of seeds, they were great for insomnia and pain but fionn wasn't in pain. was he?

she vowed to find something that was easier on his system, an herb that would relieve pain but not give a clouded crash when it wore off. were any of those plants around there?

again her musing was interrupt as pale eyes moved to the pretty sparkle of green, she had such pretty eyes. like their mother, though hers were more of a peridot. wait, what had she said? ah, of course. she was talking to fionn, they both were so lovely in their looks, why did she have to look so plain? their eyes shades of precious jewels, where hers where simply a dull shade from a hardy flower.

"would you like to stop vivi?" she questioned her sister, so softly, with her childhood nickname. As she could not say her name properly as a pixie "maybe i can find some herbs or.." her words, barely much sound at all, drifted off as she looked around. Her eyes roaming, marveling at the scenery around them.

The lovely song of her sister would never age in her heart, her little littermate was a precious jewel within her ownself, no matter how she gazed at her two companions in wonderlust. Truth be spilled over a bloodied tongue, Aoibh envied her sister to an amount. Even though she was the peewee of the two, she was darling and pretty girl, something no male or woman could deny. She possed a gentle, angelic tough and gaze that held in you within the inbetween, whatever fairyweald she had hailed from. To their parents, Deidre's presence? A gift. Hers? Not worthy of their praise, however.

What Aoibh lacked in grace and maturity she somewhat provided for in inguity and strength, not even those gifts would excuse her faults in the eyes of her mater and pater. She sighed when Fionn retorted, though it was evident his (rather unfair yet justifiable) bias slipped between his poppy ridden teeth and poked his inquiry more. She was tired.

Of his bull.

❝ Nah, Deidei,❞  the weathered and less than fae replied nicely, ❝ Finny here already has enough — erm, herbs in his system. He'll walk it off as we go along,❞ she bitterly hisses the last part. If the boy was so inclined to ail his sister, then maybe he should stop using her as his drug supply, if he even cared for her at all excluding the fact the girl aspired to be a highly regarded matron. Maybe — just maybe, if he had shared, she would have gifted him a rather light pass.

Ah, new nickname, drughogger.

The little angel offers to find some herbs and that has his ears perked. The pretty little girl who would gather his poppy seeds for him! She held his heart. He could feel the eagerness for the drug in his blood like a poison that took over his body. Each moment that passed, the seeds were wearing off, and he felt more aware of the world around him. And the unpleasant things in it. That's when Aoibh speaks up again. In his half-drugged state, each word of hers was like nails on a chalkboard- why wouldn't she let him live?

He refuses to take his gaze off the angel, but he sighs with annoyance once again. Aoibh need not wonder why she was the less favored. Beyond the fact that Deidra made her look like a mannish ogre, she was always on him about one thing or another. Why was she so mad about his habit again? It was his own business, nothing for her to be concerned about. He wanted to retort. He really did- but he ought to value these womens' opinions. If they wanted something he would provide. Or cooperate. It was his way. So even if Aoibh was kinda a bitch in his mind, he wouldn't bother to fight back. Ah, well, if Aoibh doesn't want to stop. And if you don't Deidra... He trailed off as he began to shrug his shoulders, preparing to walk again- though silently he hoped Deidra would tell her sister that they ought to rest instead.

if she had her wings they might have fluttered, giving away her discomfort. she did not like the way fionn and aoibh talked to each other, they always seemed at odds but she did not understand why. what was wrong with the use of herbs if they helped with pain or other ailments that were not seen? was she doing something wrong by wanting to help her friend? her mind wandered once more before his voice came again, she still really wished she knew what color his wings would be. maybe she could find a flower that would match, much like she found a really pretty rock for her sister when they were little pixies. it had matched her eyes, so green and shiny.

wait, what did fionn say? something about how her sister did not want to stop and how she did not want to stop but didn't she say she did, or was that something she thought instead of voicing?  "well...." she said quietly, she did not want to annoy anyone. if they really did not want to stop walking, she could stay quiet but what if there was something here they missed? what would they miss other than her own musings? "what if we looked around, its sparkly here," and it was, the snow seemed to glitter everywhere she looked

And who was she to deny a sister's wish? (She remembered that rock memory and regarded in fondly in deep repose, time to time.) ❝ Only cause I love you too much, Deidei,❞ she whispered in her commoner, non-accented voice. She liked to keep up the her mother accent around the others as much as possible, mostly because she love how her 'ye' turns out what prodded with a heavily laced tongue. She surveys the plains like she had been . . . a herd of brown, yet ashen blotches moving away from them, the soft bristlign of long grass and the far reaches of aspen wealds . . .

❝ Didn't that girl . . . Lumiya, ye? Didn't she speak about a place like this lot? She was raised 'ere or some shit . . . ,❞ she plainly comments to one of the pair in particular. Lumiya was a pretty elegant girl, like her sister, kind and respectful, unlike her. She wasn't rasied in the faerie court, born in lands described like these, illstrauted by her lovely voice and soft songs, reminds her of a dove and their shy coos.

the barbaric fae skittered down the slopes, hoping to sniff for poppy seeds herself. Fionn can't be the only one allowed to be caught in a high, she was above everything after all. Maybe her sister was contemplating her faerie wings right now, a girl could fantasize, but not like Deidra, was always incased in tale.

Ask and you shall receive, or so fate worked in her mind. After safely storing the fiery warrior among the willows with some weeds and a fresh meal, it was time for her to go exploring again. She was certain everyone would be safe under her watchful eye - Eilonwy would, for sure, remain in one spot till her high went down, and whoever else was settled there (because her narrator doesn't know who is and isn't there right now) she trusted enough not to start a ruckus.

On her way she went, fluttering about, when — in the distance, the fae spotted a trio of wolves. Jackpot, she thought, not recognizing them from so far away. Her dainty feet tripped and stuck into the snow every now and again on her way over there, but she looked as graceful as ever. as she approached with a wafting banner and her saccharine smile.

Then she got closer, and closer and... — and there was no way these wolves were who she thought they were. But it could be! If Orlaith was shut out of the pack, there would've been others - but what had brought them here? There was Fionn, Deidra and even Aoibh was present. She understood the sisters wanting to stay together, but why was Fionn traveling with two lovely ladies?

My goodness. She uttered softly, even if she had been recognized already.

Caught again in a daydream- he wondered what the world was like through her eyes? To him she always seemed to be distant, living some rose-tinted dream. The snow, sparkly- he hadn't really considered to see it as much more than a freezing bother. How lovely was her perception... she saw the world like a girl's dream, he saw it through drugged hallucinations. Neither one could approach reality with open eyes.

He was just happy to hear that she wanted to stay in the area, at least. He had had enough travel for now, and fully intended on taking it slower. His ruby eyes begin to graze the horizons for any hint of that beloved plant, poking out from the snow perhaps- he would need it soon. Of course he barely paid attention as Aoibh went off on some tangent about a child they'd met a while back. He pays little attention, as he begins to wander. Not in such a scurrying hurry as Aoibh, but eager enough.

It's then that a little voice disturbs his search. And he looks up, annoyed, but his gaze quickly softens. Had Deidra's sister somehow summoned her in words? Speak of a girl, and there she was! He stumbles towards her drunkenly, but collects himself. Good afternoon, Lumiya. He greets the little girl with a respectful bow of his head, before rising to meet her gaze again. But quickly he's glancing back, scarlet eyes wandering to Deidra as if to silently summon her (and her alone) to the scene.

glitter and shimmer, the snow was much more than simply white like most thought. no, it was whatever color the sky was. sometimes it changed with however the sun or moon shined on it. a splash of magenta, a wash of robin blue. she blinked again, her sister whispering to her.

only 'cause i love you, deidei.

oh, their reason for stopping. was that a good thing? love was good but was slowing their pace bad, should she take her words back? ah but before she could her sister spoke again, deidra looked over at fionn before shifting her periwinkle gaze to meet emerald green.  lumiya.. oh, lulu! ah, she loved that aoibh had their mother's lilting accent. right, question. "she did!" she breathed excitedly before her sister raced off in search of something.

the pale fairy moved, her eyes roaming until they met fionn's once more. oh! speaking of lumiya! with a high tip, a sound that would surely get aoibh's attention, she trotted over. her side brushing his for a moment before her tail began to wag with excitement. how did her sister's words summon her?

"oh lulu, its you!" she gasped, leaning to touch her cheek with her own. if she allowed the contact, were they the same size now?

Aoibh was no fool, a ogre maybe, but not a some mindless gaper. She saw the way Fionn beckoned her peewee sister with his drug altered, crimson eyes. The barbaric fae snorted at that as she finally regarded Lumiya, who had trotted unto the scene as if the weathered fae had summoned her with her thought and wish, alomost a random shooting star.

Still somehwhat smaller than her. but had grew, which was to be expected if you age. Still dignified and maintaining a regal yet condescending posture unto Aoibh, who let her spine and back laze whenever. Lumiya was still cute nonetheless, which is something she wouldn't admit. The barbarian fae let her common tongue slip to acknowledge her (and not so kindly butt Fionn in the goddamn neck. What? Lumiya still described her as lovely):

❝ Isn't a cute princess I see here?❞ she laughs warmly as her sister proceeds to lightly embrace her with her soft tru faerie lithe and touch. ❝ Nice to see you again, Lumiya. I didn't really expect you to be here.❞

It's not like I wished you here or anything, damn the stars.

What a wonder they all still recognized her, though perhaps she really was a unique sight. Deidra seemed most excited to be seeing her again, and she placed a soft kiss on the other's cheek in greeting. What are you all doing here? She asked with a grin, probably already knowing the answer. She trippled a round around them with a happy bounce in her step, tail wagging majestically behind her.

Fate brought us a wonder. She commented softly once she was done doing her happy dance, turning more firmly to the trio to await some answers. Were they here to stay? On a mission? Cast out like Orlaith had been?

Deidra beckons Aoibh too, which annoys Fionn. But all was eased when she brushed up against him for just a moment- the pathetic virgin he was, it sent prickles through his bones, shot lighting down his spine. And then she was away from him again. And Aoibh was there, her voice like nails on a chalkboard. And then the more pleasant Lumiya, still something of a child in his eyes. She dances around them playfully, which puts a warm smile on Fionn's face. She was a sweet kid.

To her questioning, he hesitates to respond. Not out of rudeness- rather, he believes the women have more of the right to tell the story. They were in charge after all, weren't they? So Fionn hangs at the back, awkward and quiet.

the uniquely colored girl returned her excitement, even gave her a gentle kiss on the cheek in greeting. she was not the only one that could not stay still for once, thos girl was just lovely. her eyes seemed to take that far off look as she focused on her back, imagining such a lovely pair of wings. she could almost see the color, a soft lavender with glittering silver spun through. as if made of mercury, how regal they would be.

the wonder bubble popped, the wings shimmering out of focus as she tried to remember the question ask. what had lulu said, oh no, what had she asked! pale eyes shifted to her sisters emerald gaze, maybe she was listening?

The woman wanted to roll her eyes at her daydreaming and high lot, her voice trying to ward off her irkish edge, ❝ Damn court decided to kick us out, even Maeve and the rest of them didn't rise to give us a good farewell, bastards, all of them, ❞ she grunted progressively rasing her voice and spat bastards with a ire unparrelled. Maeve, her mother, what she was meant to be blood wise. Though it seemd those maternal instincts could make way for her out of their litter. Her own siblings, her keep, deny her safe passge? As if they all wished for them to die and beome feed to vultures in the vast swates of the wilds.

Aoibh eyes formed into slits as she watched the girl closer,❝ And what are ye prancin' about here for? ❞

Oh dear, how unfortunate... Lumi responded genuinely, this not being the first time having to deal with one of the cast out faeries. She didn't understand why so much space had to be freed - had they had a fortunate year of spawning pixies? Had prey become scarcer that she could imagine? She abstained from asking such technical questions; in the end, it did not matter.

Well - funny you should ask - as I'm actually starting a court of my own. She answered with a light blush reddening her cheeks. I've already come across Orlaith, and she has decided to stay with me in the forest I plan to claim. She informed dutifully.

Aoibh tells her story in her usual bitey and over-aggressive manner. It really wasn't that deep to Fionn. Yeah, they'd been kicked out, but didn't that just open doors to new opportunities? Didn't that free them from their homeland to explore the world, to make a new home of their own, where they belonged? But what did he know- he was just a useless druggie, after all. So the half dead zombie hung at the back with the same half-eyed stare. Lumiya tells that she's forming a court of her own, and Fionn's eyes widen a little. Home. It was a place they needed, and Lumiya was quite a nice girl. A more tactful wolf might've put things more carefully, but Fionn was not such an individual- and so he eagerly chirped, Can we come to the claim too?

quick phone post

Ah, so thats what she asked. What they wrote doing so far away from home, how they came to this enchanting place. Her lovely sister spine the words out, bit them out rather, and she gave her a soft shake of her delicate skull. She could have said it more elegantly but if she had she would not have been Aoibh, she nudged her softly with her nose as she looked back at the younger girl.

A home? Was she offering them a home? She looked overy at her ruby eyed ccompanion with a nod as he voiced her own question. "oh, can we!?" she breathed, her tail swaying with excitement.

she's not saying nothing but she's saying something

Her ears pricked at the lay to claim factor of the sentence. A little mistress like herself? Handle a growing pack of real adults. Aoibh scoffed at the idea noticeably and shook her head. the young were known for having large and ambitious dreams, perhaps if they kept their heads closer to the earth beneath them they would find more luck in their forthcomings. The less than faerie looked at Deidra with an insinuatiing gaze. Let her sister decide, it would give her an upper hand in any quarrel followed there after reating to this so called 'claim'. When it all came down burning at their feet because some child had decided to stake claim.

Lumiya nodded happily - of course she'd let her former packmates join her in her quest to build a sanctuary if they were willing. The woman needed as much help as she could get; not because she was incapable, but because she was smart. Rome wasn't build by a single person, and neither would her court. Dissatisfied vibes came from the stoic and quiet Aoibh, but she paid it little mind. Everyone was free to leave whenever they wanted to.

I'm able to take you there right now, if you so wish. She replied gladly.

Finally something to bring a little joy back to his life- a home, and a home with Deidra, if she was so willing. He would gladly follow Lumiya if it meant he could live a quiet life of peace without worrying about constant travel or struggle to survive. So as she welcomes them, a tired half-smile meets his face. He wholly ignores the reaction of the ever-ungrateful Aoibh, and instead opts to chirp, Please do, Lumiya. Thank you... thank you so much. His gaze then flits to Deidra, curious if she was equally as happy as him.
