All Welcome
@Nigaq maybe? Otherwise all welcome!!

Holly had noticed the other golden one's fatigue when she came back from her travels every day, Uriel had been overworking herself day after day. That being the arising problem Holly decided to set her sights upon today. The she-wolf left at first light, making sure Hemlocke would be asleep in case vertigo or nausea caught up with her. Quickly, she set off to the borders, arriving just as swiftly. Holly made her way around not once, but three times.

Only when she got dizzy did she slow her pace, just a precaution. Laying her scent in all fading places the woman made her way to find more work to be done. On the way, she caught the scent of a lonely raccoon, a meal and infestation. The golden lady heading there now and planted her feet when the grey lump came into view. She waited, her timing had to be perfect or the creature would escape.

Nigaq was presently uninterested in a hunt. She wanted to return to the border and resume the work she'd paused for an afternoon meal. Along the way, she spotted the unfamiliar frame of another flame, this one seemingly poised for an attack.

The Apaata paused and stared. She wondered who (or what) the victim might be, but would not move to join until prompted otherwise.

The golden one was solely focused on her meal and didn't hear her approaching visitor until she was only a few feet away. Swiveling her head the lady realized that it was just another wolf, one Holly didn't recognize. The woman always greeted first, never wanting to falsely accuse somebody and get off on the wrong foot. A shy smile spread across her face as she shifted her tail slightly; completely calm and undeterred by the woman's presence.

A question behind her eyes as she nodded towards the raccoon welcomed the smokey woman to join if she pleased before she turned her head back to her prey. Her poised position had been unaffected by the appearance of another and only now did it begin to slip Holly got another wave of dizziness. The golden woman regained her composure, not sure if she let this stranger know what was happening if she would tell the others. Soon, the spinning released its grasp on Holly and she could get back to the matter at hand; she was ready to strike again.

The woman's short lapse in balance went unacknowledged. Nigaq did not want to assume that she was sick; if she was, it would be the guardian's responsibility to inform the others. What might Uriel think of an injured woman in her ranks? Deciding to ask about this later, she moved forward and set eyes on the raccoon. If Holly did not move forward first, her companion would not hesitate.

Holly’s first falter if the day had been brief, the lady knew something so short would not be the last. As brief as it was it might have been noticed, a problem she assumed would arise later. For now, normality had regained its hold. The hunt was back in the golden woman’s mind as she took a step forward, stopping still in the brush.

The silver woman was new, and since Holly didn’t know her skills she would find out herself. Staying put the woman just watched the meal. If the lady didn’t strike in a few minutes the phoenix would, but she hoped Nigaq would take the window of time and finish the hunt. A quiet test of the lady’s abilities.

Similarly, the golden-woman sought an appraisal. Nigaq nodded and took her position, moving so that she could clearly see the raccoon. It was healthy, if size were any indication; after waiting a moment, the guardian striked.

Her aim was short of the target. Their potential meal skittered away, leaving Nigaq to curse silently in its direction. Unfortunate, she said to her companion.

The smokey lady did as Holly had desired, and although she didn't catch the raccoon, she still seemed a talented hunter. She had taken the window of time correctly and appeared to be used to not always catching the prey. "Not all hunts work out." Holly nodded, perhaps that sneaky raccoon and she can meet up again one day, two come and one leaves.

"My name is Holly. You are new to Skyward correct?" The golden one smiled, her tailed sweeping the ground behind her as she made sure her seriousness towards the hunt didn't mislead this woman into thinking she was a grump.
