A numbing sensation creeps over his body, as if suspended in a blizzard. Frostbite starts to settle on his toes, his eyes covered in frost. It becomes a struggle to move. Even the expansion of his chest a fight that the sun tires of quickly.
His feet do the wandering on another plane than that of his mind. A bend of reality bewitched in a fashion that would leave most screaming for the hills. Helios awakens in a similar state that he had in the Bramblepoint, though it is a less casual affair. His jaws go agape, gasping hungrily—starved and squeezed of breath.
Each wheeze echoes across the forest—answered back by the caw of a raven. His golden eyes look up, and where he sees a feather fall stands a wolf. Ragged, exhausted; it wears deep in the grooves of his face as he keeps his head low. The gasps slow, breathes soon caught yet his muzzle remains open.
Common language is spoken in quotation marks, while French is in « guillemets »x

Once again Vallkyrie finds herself in the ashen, cryptic dead forest of The Heartwood. Once more, with each step, she finds herself filled with regret and dread. The lands here still filled with ash, the trees still broken and dead, their bare limbs reaching down to scratch at her backside. Only the sound of the crow is heard, calling out in the deadwood forest.

She had come in a hope to strike one more landscape off her list where Ying might be found. But it would seem nothing would be found here, no one. That is...

The limber woman pauses, a gasp shaking her attention, causing her to freeze in her place. Panting - struggling, gasping, grasping for air. On willows steps she brings herself closer to the sound, her own snowy white chest heaving. It is a wolf, brightly lit with golden blonde hues and dark like night sky all the same. The crow calls out again, echoing in the forest and her pale, icy eyes lock to him as her head dips low between her limbs. Are you alright?
