All Welcome
All Welcome. Late Evening, Light Drizzle, 10°C

The yowls and whines of coyotes quarrelling over a kill drew the raven wolf in from the shelter of trees which lined the outskirts of the pasture. Light of foot and hidden beneath the backdrop of a dark starless sky, she was able to stalk her way closer without discovery.
Crouching down, amber eyes quickly counted the three canines in front of her. She observed them for several moments through the light drizzle of rain, keen to understand their behaviour and group dynamics. The largest of the three, nipping and snarling at her subordinates, would be her primary target.
Now, with baited breath, she waited for an opportunity to strike.

Little to Donovan’s knowledge, the coyotes he’d been stalking for about half an hour now have another predator eyeing them down. The male is confident in his strides and he finally decides to go in for the kill. Stalking out from a small copse of trees and shrubbery. He resembles a lion more than a wolf or dog at this point. Walking languidly from his cover, head level with his strong back only slightly crouched from his original massive height with his golden orbs fixated on the pack of coyotes before him. His tail is high and curled inward to rest on his hips as he allows his heavy paws to urge him ever closer.

The coyotes aren’t stupid enough to not see him coming and they still, large ears pointed forward like saucers and hazel eyes fixated back on Donovan. He’s a comfortable forty feet away from them and they’re peering back to him cautiously. Then in a split second everything changes and Donovan begins running to them. His muscles shift impressively beneath his extraordinary brindle coat and he urges himself faster and faster to catch up with the scattering group of animals.

One of the bunch unfortunately meets his timely end as it trips and rolls through the tall grass coating it’s agouti pelt with dirt and dead grass alike. In no time Donovan is on it, galloping up to it and pouncing on top with all of his massive weight. The animal releases a high pitched whine more akin to a scream if anything and instantly shows its belly in a useless attempt at submitting to the wolf-dog, surely hoping to be spared. Where Donovan is sure no thing would happen he stands above the creature and the coy lies under him thin front and hind legs press up against his barreled chest attempting its best to keep the larger male at bay. Donovan cranes his head down, a toothy smirk on his maw and he shoots forward with savage intent to grab ahold of its neck. He shakes his head and his body ripples with the movement as he slings the coyotes body back and forth, easily killing it.

He drops the body after a few more malicious shakes and his black tongue lols out of his mouth to pant, drool dripping from the sides of his mouth in stringy droplets. Sparking canary orbs go to eye down the coys family running off into the tall grass and he contemplates going after the rest of them. He’s not above killing for sport to pass the time.

For now he catches his breath, standing there confidently and tall. He looks positively stunning in the low light of the evening, large muscles on display, he looks like an absolute fucking unit.

She had not noticed that there had been another wolf stalking the coyotes, with the male being on the opposite side of the pasture, and whilst she waited he took the opportunity to strike.
Immediately her head rose and she shifted upright, moving to sit, her eyes wide in surprise as she watched him run in and take down one of the unfortunate canines. Swift and effective in his attack, he soon had the coyote throat between his jaws and killed it with a few violent thrashes of his muscular neck.
As the other two coyotes sprinted away, the raven-cloaked woman prowled in closer to greet the stranger, her own mouth growing slick with saliva and her deep orange eyes flashing with intrigue.
"You made that look easy." She commented with a raised brow, a smirk pulling on one side of her charcoal lips as her eyes glanced his colossal figure. "Mind if we share the leftovers?" Her question lingured more as a statement, for before the male could reply, she had already moved in to tear at the half-eaten bison carcass.

As he stands tall and confident over the lifeless creatures body his eyes finds the female ain’t wrong towards him. Thick ears face towards the dark figure and he cocks his head ever so slightly with a raised brow. Slowly, an easy smile spread across his lips as she boasts his confidence (which is not good for how full of himself he already is) with her seemingly impressed compliment.

Then as she asks to share the leftovers she hardly gives him time to respond before answering for him and digging in. He lets out a puff of air through his nose that could be considered a laugh. “I’d say go ahead but it seems you’ve already found yourself at home.”

Gazing down to her and taking in her coat in the fading light he can see the light dusting of maroonish red in her pelt, along with the chocolate browns and backs. Then her stunning apricot eyes catch his own. For merely a few seconds he takes in her appearance, though fitfully, he take his eyes off of her and looks back towards the coyotes that seems to be getting further and further.

“You wouldn’t happen to want to hunt the other down would you, dear?” He asks in a distracted hum, canary eyes still settled on the animals in the distance. “Hide this one and chase the rest of the pack?” He has a mysterious but playful glint in his eyes, as he side eyes her. Really he’s just wants the thrill of the hunt and what’s better than hunting in the company of a beautiful stranger.

The raven-cloaked woman holds back a blood-stained smile as she tears off a piece of bison flesh, pleased that the much larger male did not try to stop her from gorging on the carcass. Instead, her ears simply flick towards his direction and her tail sways easily behind her in acknowledgement.
It was being referred to as 'dear' which caused the raven woman to lift her head from her meal and meet the wolf's devilish yellow gaze, enjoying the respect he was offering her, before she followed her line of sight towards the two fleeing coyotes in the distance. She looked back down to the carcass she had begun picking at, and then to the dead coyote bleeding out in the tall grass.
"And have ourselves a feast you mean?" She asked, leaning down to stretch into a play bow as she caught the playful glint in his eye. She licked the blood and sinew from her lips.
"You drag the body to the nearest treeline." She ordered, suddenly agreeing and taking charge of the situation all at once. "I'll chase after the other two." The large male could catch up to her once the first coyote was safely stashed out of sight of the ravens.
"Quickly now." She demanded, flashing her fangs to him as she licked hungrily at her muzzle, before she wasted now time in racing after the smaller canines.

Hera is being a bossy-boots. Obviously Donovan can choose to ignore her

No worries! He likes ‘em sassy. ;)

His eyes flick to her tail, then back to those auburn hues peering up to him before looking off into the direction the coyotes fled. His eyes appreciate the femininity of her figure and angles as she slopes her back into the downward dog position, though his smirk grows wider at her words. The promise of a hunt. Just as she flicks a pink tongue out to lick her chops, he finds himself following the motion.

Then a sudden order comes from her lips. Not too harsh per say, yet he is used to giving the orders, not taking them. He deems her lucky in this instance. For he is the type of male to give women a bit more stretch when it comes to aggravating him. Rather her strong words and leader esc. qualities seem to give him more respect for her and perhaps a little of something else.

So he stands there, mildly surprised by her words. He quickly recovers and he raises a brow teasingly. Yes, ma’am. He drawls smoothly, teasingly. A curt nod follows the words just after.

He starts with grabbing the coyote, easily picking it up my it’s scruff and dragging it to the smaller bunch of trees a good forty feet away.

He watches the female begins to sprint off after them and gazes to the leftover bison and shrugs. He’s not carrying that into the forest. He hid the coyotes and that is good enough. So he runs after her. It only takes a little while for him to catch up, his massive form coming to run beside her. Eyes intense and on their target just off in the distance.

The lack of fuss put up by the much larger male was appreciated by the raven wolf. She liked being in control, liked handing out orders and having others follow them without question. What she liked even more was the fact that up until now she had been able to walk all over the male and he had done nothing but treat her with the respect she desired, despite his obvious ability to overpower her and put her in her place if he wanted to. It made her feel important, special even.
As she sprinted off after the two fleeing coyotes, she could hear the male getting to work dragging the first victim away. A smile secretly pulled at her lips as she ran, curious to see if he would make light work of her command. It seemed he had, for soon enough he had caught up to her and was running by her side. She flashed him a raised brow and a flirtatious side-eye, impressed at his speed, before she focused back on the task at hand.
Up ahead, the two coyotes were heading towards the treeline at the opposide end of the golden pasture, their tails tucked between their legs. They were right to be scared, for the two wolves were swiftly catching up to them. Upon reaching the trees the two coyotes split up, each heading in opposite directions as they avoided the maze of trees.
The raven female darted off to the left, picking the dominant female canine as her target, the one she had been planning to take down all along. She was only a few paces behind her now. Soon she was have the coyote's skin between her teeth.

His intense gaze only lasts so long while looking on the coyotes, he gives the female to his right a fleeting glance and catches something else. She cocks an arched brow at him, with a smile to boast, she sets her eyes on him in an interesting way. He smirks back to her and continues by her side until the two just head of them split drastically. She veers off to the right and he’s sure she expects Donovan to go after the one on the left. No, he’ll run after that one once they’ve dealt with this one.

There’s only so much fun in grabbing the neck of a coyote and shaking it to his hearts desire. Where the real fun would be is splitting it in two and playing a little game of tug-of-war. He’ll watch the intestines of the animal fall out of its gaping stomach as they rip it in half. Bloody sinew stretching until it has no more give and bones dislocating and cracking from their attack. It will truly be beautiful.

So with that, he follows right behind her, albeit lagging behind now just a bit, he admits his stamina might not be as up-to-par compared to the athletic she-wolf, but he’s still able to keep up well enough. He’ll allow her to grab ahold of the coy first before he steps in. After all, she’ll probably make it to the canid before he will.
