Joining
Plot has been OK’d by Summer. This is a Joining thread but Strand is gonna be a total bitch the whole time and will then be taken as a prisoner/servant. Whoever joins is allowed to be bite-y but plz don’t kill her or like… rip her eyes out or anything lmfao.

Strand probably had something seriously wrong with her brain, probably caused by her time in the water a year ago, which had brought her here. But her memory was faulty. She had only disjointed memories of having been here before. The only thing she knew with certainty is that no one was supposed to be here. This was her goddamn island. So why were there a bunch of other wolves here by the smell of it? She paced back and forth, back and forth, in the sand, whipping her head back like she wanted to give herself whiplash and howling for whoever the hell was in charge.

Oh, they would pay.

The howl caught her attention immediately, and Huā headed over with no hesitation, finding the tone odd, and the voice unfamiliar. However upon arriving, she found a rather annoyed-looking woman who looked vaguely familiar. Had she met this woman while back at Rusalka? The empress narrowed her eyes, immediately disliking the posture and nature of the girl, who did not look like she wanted to join. You at Yuèlóng. What you want? She questioned bluntly. Meanwhile she hoped backup would show soon, she couldn't exactly hold her own very well in a fight.
lol ditto what fira said yall! feel free to join just keep in mind the outcome :D

he wasn't in charge, but he was nearby and so set off to answer the summons of whoever may be knocking on their door. when he arrived and the sandy figure in the distance finally materialized, he let out a friendly chuff and a few forced sways of his tail.

despite their visitor not looking all that happy, astaroth was determined to present himself with a smile. kill them with kindness huh? hua was there as well, and in a silent effort to announce he was there should she need support, he gave a quick bump to her shoulder before backing up a step or two and looking over their rude guest.

Others are free to join, obviously.

Strand stopped pacing when the woman showed up. She glared daggers at her, baring her fangs. “Listen up, bitch,” she said, her voice strong but almost at the breaking point already from simple, abject fury. “You stole my island and I demand that you and your… your shitty followers… leave immediately!” Yeah, that would get ‘em. The beach-colored woman—for she was a woman now, having just recently hit her second birthday—stalked up to the black-and-white leader and stopped a foot or two away, growling menacingly. She rolled her shoulder from an old injury that had never healed properly, which ached from her swim in the cold water. “If you won’t leave, I’ll fucking kill you.”

It was only after this very obvious threat that she even noticed the male who had come up to them. She kept her head aimed at the leader but her eyes flicked to the dark male and gave him a once-over. “Who the fuck are you?”

Have a Tzila. <3

Although pregnant and just beginning to show, added with swarming emotions, did not mean Tzila was out of commission by any means. It would take more than just a few pains and hunger pangs to keep her down. She would tough it out all the way till the end. Even if she was scared shitless.

The call that sounded from the outskirts was un-familiar. Pushy. Demanding. Her jaw set, crimson tipped hackles flaring slightly. This was their damn island! Who did this outsider think they were, banging on their front door with such audacity?! She arrived, marching briskly up to Hua's side. Astaroth was there too, thank goodness. She gave him a quick half smile. Her Empress looked none too pleased with the sandy female before them. Ears pricked, body rigid and tail high, a shoulder bump to her friend affirmed her standing.

The words that flew off this vile woman's tongue immediately hit her the wrong way. No one talked to either of her friends like that! Hackles bristling further, Tzila's muzzle crinkled in an ugly snarl, a growl like oceanic thunder rolling forth. "They, are my comrades. And I suggest you watch your tongue before I rip it out for you." She said, taking a single step forward with a roll her shoulders, tail lashing. She would put her skill set as a warrior to good use here and now, if it boiled down to that.

Astaroth and Tzila arrived soon enough, thankfully. The words that came from the woman- no, the bitch- were a load of dumpster trash that had the little mermaid's face wrinkling into something bitter. The fur rose along her spine, and she lashed her tail fiercely, raising her chin like the queen she was. Bitch, She hissed, cat-like, fangs baring themselves into a snarl that was rare coming from the gentle empress. But she was a wildcard, and things like this could push her over the edge. Tzila's comment strengthened her own resolve, and she continued. Where the fuck you are the last three month? We own this place now, asshole. You are one. I have twenty. Stretching numbers a little was okay in her book. We will kill you. You have five second before I set my warrior loose on you. She snarled, flashing them both a glance- were they okay to fight? The time would pass quickly, and she knew she would look weak if her backup was all bark and no bite. She trusted the both of them, but didn't want to risk their lives for them- and so would leave it up to the pair to either fight or flee.

he was a pacifist at heart. never liked fighting and never would. he thought it a waste of energy and time, and rarely saw any good come from it anyways. but that didn't mean he wouldn't partake if the situation called for it.

this stranger had a nasty temper and an even nastier mouth, though it did little rile him up. it seemed the same could not be said for either of the women by his side though. his brow raised as both spat out their response to the sandy girl's poor choice in words. they'd said all they needed to, and so he remained silent, a looming presence that stood tall beside the pair of his packmates.

"this is the part where you run away", he let out with a flash of pearly fangs and a motion for her to start swimming back to wherever it was she'd come from.

Strand was not afraid of any of them. Which was incredibly stupid of her, but what can you do? With each word out of the two women’s mouths, she was becoming angrier and angrier, and it seemed that a red film was coming down over her eyes. Occasionally white spots prickled her vision. If she wasn’t careful she was going to give herself a brain aneurysm. But when was Strand ever careful?

With the sudden interjection of the male’s seemingly sarcastic remark, Strand absolutely lost her shit. She turned and lunged for the male, snarling. If she couldn’t have them all, she would take this one down with her.

Ok feel free to knock her out or. Something. Whatever. Throw her in a deep tide pool, maybe, like JB suggested? LOL. @Astaroth - you can decide whether her hit lands. Idc either way.

Tzila is attacking from behind, aiming for the scruff to try and pin Strand down.

The message didn't seem to be getting through to this ding-bat. She had a one-track mind and was completely blinded by her own self-induced anger. She, Hua and Astaroth had all given Strand their warnings. A chance to back out, to turn around and go back to wherever it was she came from. She refused. And instead, made possibly the stupidest mistake of her life.

She launched herself at Astaroth. The father of her unborn children. The one man who meant the world to her. Cold silver eyes widened for a fraction of a second while dark pupils shrunk to pinpricks. Then all hell broke loose. Surging after her with a heathen's growl, grains of sand exploded in the wake of Tzila's charge. While Strand had her back turned, focused on Astaroth, she used the bitch's vulnerability to aim her jaws at the scruff of her neck. Clamping down, she jerked her back, using her superior size and weight to try and force her face down into the sand.

Astaroth was quieter than the women, but delivered the final warning, which Strand failed to heed. The sandy woman instead came leaping towards the gunmetal boy, and Huā's muzzle wrinkled into a snarl as she took a step forward, intending to defend- before remembering that she knew nothing about battle. If only Ying were here. Tzila seemed to fill that hole in more ways than one, though, as she came to Astaroth's defense, reaching her maw for the woman's scruff. Huā could only watch on as the violence ensued- ready to send the command to stop once she felt the bitch had been beat badly enough. She didn't mind violence against those who deserved it, but wouldn't stand to see a murder on her beach, and had other things in mind for the girl's fate.

this one needed a mute button because she somehow managed to be way too loud without saying anything at all, and it was starting to give him a headache. he let out a huff when she refused to leave, only to have a pair a jaws come snarling at him in return. why me?! his eyes seemed to question as he took a step back to avoid fangs, silently hoping this pattern of women lunging for his face wouldn't become a trend.

despite his effort to avoid contact, her hit connected along the side of his face, directly below the ear. her attack didn't last long however, and by the time he realized what had happened, tzila had already grabbed her by the neck and was aiming to shove her face to the sandy floor. he moved to aid his inky companion, snapping at the stranger's heels and back legs until she hopefully realized her foolish mistake and submitted.

Strand’s entire world was suddenly thrown off-balance. She had no idea what happened, but her head spun as her face was slammed into the sand. She groaned, inhaled sand, and coughed, attempting to struggle to her paws. But there was a presence looming over her. The pregnant woman had her pinned. “Get off me, you bitch!” she yelled, inhaling to scream more insults and swallowing more sand. She gagged, dribbling spit laced with sand out of her mouth and tried to wrench away from the dark woman, getting her back paws underneath her at the very least.

The outsider, unsurprisingly, fought back. Tzila was experienced enough to know that scuffles like these were hardly one sided. To make matters worse, she kept running her mouth. But at least her own attack had the desired effect, shoving the offenders face into the sand, making her cough and choke.

Her struggles, as she scrambled for purchase in the sand, only fueled Tzila further. She clamped down harder around the loose skin of her scruff, shaking violently back and forth. She swung around so she was facing Strand head on, though in such a maneuver she may have possibly torn away fur from flesh. Briefly, she released her grip in the process, but immediately went back in for another bite. If that worked, she'd jerk her head back forcefully. Her hope was to flip her down, with her weight assisting her in rolling Strand on her back, or at least her side. If she succeeded in that, then she had a far crueler tactic in mind to finally subdue this pest.

usually he was not one to participate or encourage violence, but whatever this girl got coming to her was well deserved. he continued to assist where he could, but left a large majority of the actual beating to tzila. that was her area of specialty and he wasn't about to pretend like he knew what he was doing when it came to exchanging punches.

and so as the two women continued to go at it, he left just enough space between himself and them as to not get caught in the crossfire. instead he kept his eyes open for any weak points their rude guest may expose, and should he feel it necessary, would jump in and dish out a few punches on his own.

Strand was, in fact, rolled onto her back. Her eyes widened in fear and panic, for having her belly exposed could mean death. The belly was a delicate area and she struggled violently against Tzila's grip at the thought of teeth ripping into her there. She let out a frustrated scream, unable to break free and her wild, white eyes swiveled back and forth between Tzila and Astaroth. She said nothing, but grit her teeth and breathed hard and fast between them, waiting for some kind of death blow.

Minor power play approved by Fira.

With her tactic a success, Tzila put the final phase of her plan into action. Instead of going for the throat, or worse, Strand's exposed belly to disembowel her. Releasing her hold, she set her eyes on Astaroth, muttering a simple "Control her back legs."  Grabbing her by the side of her neck, with her companion's assistance in restraining her, the wraith began to drag her body along through the sand.

Not far from the scuffle that was un-folding, the sandy ground dipped, forming a shallow bowl where sea water from the high tides had collected. The devil that still lived within Tzila emerged then, smoldering eyes peering from the inside through a looking glass. Roughly despositing the sandy wolf's body at this very spot, she jerked her forth, shoving her head down and under the shallow depths of water that had collected in the depression. "You want your fucking ocean back?! Here, then take it!" She snarled, placing a firm paw down to hold her head in place. While the act was sinister in of itself, Tzila's aim was not to kill. Just to keep Strand's face submerged until she blacked out.

ok so maybe he was wrong. sure, she may have deserved the scars and wounds and the humiliation that came from her foolish behavior, but she did not deserve a brutal death. he'd aided tzila as she drug strand's body across the beach, but the inky ghoul refused to participate in the cruel act before him.

he knew the sensation of drowning and understood that it was not a pleasant way to go. and since astaroth wasn't a mind reader, he could only assume tzila's ultimate goal was to dispose of their rude guest right here along the shore. "that's enough", he snapped, golden gaze locked on the sight of strand's body. they weren't the ones who decided whether the stranger was to live or die. and so he turned his attention to hua, his eyes asking the silent question of what they were to do with her. if death was the answer then so be it, but he'd prefer to give her a humane ending rather than a brutal one.

They battled for some moments, and ultimately Tzila took the lead, dragging the intruder down to a dip where water pooled shallowly. A demon took the place of Huā's friend, showing some evil side which the siren did not know she had. The empress was stunned silent for a moment- but thank god for Astaroth, whose words shook her back to her senses.

T-tzila! Huā chirped, stumbling forward suddenly and reaching to take the blonde's nape in her own jaws, away from her subordinate. She did not want to watch the woman trash and choke to death, and did not think far enough to understand Tzi's intention... but instinct took over there as she held their attacker, and she swung back to the earth, knocking Strand's skull against the ground. Immediately the struggle was over as the woman's eyelids fell and a small stream of blood trailed from her head. Huā was stunned. Is she dead? A moment of quiet from her before she sucked in a sharp gasp, leaning her head down to the chest of the girl. She breathing, Huā uttered as she glanced back up to her companions. W-we... we can not leave her like this. Maybe we carry her in, keep eye on her, The siren suggested, though her tone was hesitant- showing she was merely testing the waters, trying to see what they might think of her plan.

It was true. Tzila had a dark side. No matter how much she tried to change or succeeded in doing so, some of that blackness in her would likely remain. And, she wasn't afraid to unleash it when the circumstances were appropriate. She had warned Astaroth of this other side of her and now he glimpsed it. Hua on the other hand, she had spoken of no such thing to.

Yet just as she was in complete control of her savagery, she was as much so in her actions. Her dark ears only pivoted to the cry of Astaroth's voice. Her motions were not frantic. They were controlled. Mirroring the look within her cold eyes. Hua's reaction didn't surprise her. When she stepped in to grab Strand and lift her away, Tzila relinquished her hold without any fuss. Stepping back, she faced her two friends with a pointed look. "Relax." She edged out firmly, eyes darting between the pair. "I knew what I was doing. The moment I shoved her head under, I began timing." Coolly composed, she sat down, glancing to Strand's unconscious body. "My intention was to get her to black out, not kill her. And now that it is done, we can deal with her with less of a hassle." Scanning the distance, she considered the options. "We'll need to find a secure location. With that fight of hers, she'll be raging to get free as soon as she's awake."

getting stale, wrapping

Though Huā could not always control her impulsive reactions, the empress figured she could've held back after hearing Tzila's explanation. The girl made moves quickly, but intelligently- and the mermaid knew she would trust her better next time. She nodded thoughtfully at Tzila's plan, I think I know good place. She decided, and soon they were dragging the captive off to some place where they could keep an eye on her.
