While @Bronco's leaving didn't send Maia into the jealous sulk it might have a few months ago, she wasn't all that happy about it either.  She hadn't.... really been around, true, but it still.  Well.  It stunk to lose out on a friend.  Especially without getting to say goodbye.

But she only had herself to blame on that.  

She was on the hunt for lunch for herself and Wraen right now, the early morning light not yet uncomfortable thankfully.  It had been hot lately.  Fortunately, her distraction didn't prevent her from picking up some signs.

Most all of the younger members she had run around with were gone, at this point.  She'd always been more comfortable around younger wolves, probably because she'd never had kids... or a mate... or any number of things wolves her age usually did.  And at this point she wondered if she ever would.  On the quiet days, that is.

But it occurred to her that she should probably introduce herself to a few of the newer or even older adults who she hadn't met much yet.  It was hard for her to imagine she was nearer in age to someone like Niamh than someone like Figment.... but it was true.  She wasn't sure why this made her nervous, but it did. Some of them were just... intimidating.
