She did not want to think about it and yet, she found herself thinking about it. It was hard not to when every step had been accented with pain, and now of all things, a limp. How embarrassing, at least the boys were not hear to see her like this or even Friede. She liked the girl, they both had a common goal in life but sometimes she was a bit much. The usually chipper girl scoffed as she could practically hear her voice and the ridicule that would follow, how much she looked like a poor injured deer.

Shaking her head she limped forward, hissing at how the wet grass stung her burned paw. From fire she came, to water. Ruby eyes fluttered as she looked up at the roiling clouds, a break in the rain had come but she had to find shelter before the next downpour came. There was no doubt the white witch had survived if this was the weather, this thought faded when she eyed the beautiful flowers at her feet. Oh, this was a field blessed by the High Elk! It had to be for it to be this beautiful, a sign she was headed the right way!

Wherever @Kendrick was, it wasn’t with Friede. He wasn’t like Cenric and that meant he could only interest her for so long before she became bored. She didn’t really care that they’d separated, though.

However, it did mean that she had to hunt alone again. Friede wasn’t excited for that, given the intermittent storms and sometimes-torrential downpours happening.

Maybe it was luck that brought her to Bliss, then. Sissy Blissy! Friede called as she drew nearer. A smile was plastered on her face with its normal fake undertone despite her largely positive-to-neutral feelings about the doe. You look gross, poor thing.

What had she just wished, oh right, that Friede would not see her with how burned her paw and singed fur. The High Elk must think she had done something wrong because that was the first canine she comes across, the fake happy voice pricking her ears before her ruby gaze found her barely singed fur. Of course she would have made it out better off than everyone else, that was just the physics of this light brown girl.

"Oh, Frissy!" She called back with peppy smile and cheerful tone, her tail swishing to sell the emotions she did not feel at the moment. She gave a pout as soon as they subject came to her look just as she knew it would, one ear falling to the side as she looked into her eyes with an almost puppy look. "Its dreadful, but at least you don't!" She smiled once again, looking over the not so noticeable burns.

Yeah, I’m like, blessed or something, Friede said with a nod. The High Elk must have really liked her since out of all the wolves she’d found thus far, she was easily better off. Gotta thank the King, she continued. Friede closed her eyes and pointed her muzzle upwards to mumble a quick prayer.

She could have gone on talking about Bliss’s sickening burns but decided that it wasn’t actually interesting. Instead, Friede asked, Anyway, have you found anyone yet?

She used the prayer for her own selfish gain, as her eyes were closed the deer marked girl rolled her eyes before nodding in response. Maybe she was blessed, surely she would be more injured if she wasn't. A quite sigh escaped her lips before a smile came back to her lips, waa glad that the topic changed from her burns as the questions went to what she wanted to know.

"I have not, have you?" she questioned but there was  no doubt she had, she was always up to date on these kind of things.
