All Welcome
The rain never seemed to stop for the following weeks. Passing by, it became worse in the area. She saw what was once a plains, now a marsh of water. It was something she would physically have to swim in, in order to pass through. So Dragoon turned around in the other direction, avoiding the mass of flooding.

She stopped letting the weather continue denying her travells, and simply set forth. There was.. No ending. Even crawling to the top of the dangerous mesa, she could see it far and wide. The rain, just won't stop.

This place seemed just as cursed as she.

The priestess longed for the comeraderie of a pack. One day, She would have a leader, if not be a leader herself. For now though, she was more interested in the wound on her back, blistering and slimy from a fungal infection caused by the rain. She had half a mind to accept Derg's offer, if only because the Saints were likely to have a healer if they were as focused on battle as he claimed.
But she wouldn't stand under a man. And she wouldn't subject @Lunaria to that.
So instead she wandered, crawling up the side of a mesa, her paws dragging through mud and gravel.
She blinked, spying the scar-ridden Shewolf who looked just as miserable as she. Could this be her Dragon?
"This rain seems to be intent on flooding the whole world." She sighed, flopping her rear down into the mud.

Dragoon scratched her ear, idly staring out to the mass gray storm. Endless rain, endless thunder, nothing seemed to be going right. Her only desire was just a simple hire-to-be, a work, so she may take shelter and be provided food. Though now it seemed with this chaos, she either needed to leave these wilds, or find a Pack nearby to take shelter to.

The mercenary threw her head back in a sigh, and moments later her red eye side-looked toward a gray wolf that ventured upwards to the mesa like she had. Looking back down, Dragoon continued to face the outreach, "Yeah, it's unfortunate. It's harder to stay a loner like this."

It had taken him some time to return to his Mesa having found that the child he'd taken in as his ward had chosen to return to her own species. He was irate, frustrated that he could not seem to get through to the young canine that she was better off without other wolves around. He could actually take care of her, teach her some manners and dignity, teach her how to be balanced and clean, not like the rest of those wolves.

His sour mood seemed to be exacerbated by the falling rain, which made the Teeking Wilds more or less reek of mud and wet dog; probably one of his least favourite odour combinations. He made his ay up the slope of his mesa, noticing that by now, the downpour had washed away the majority of his markings. He'd have to spend at least a day reinforcing them, then, and if someone else had moved in, he'd have to oust them as well. What a waste of time that child had been...

He'd been prowling the edge of the mesa's tabletop when he noticed two wolves making their way up the slope, stil far enough away that they seemed small and not immediately dangerous. They seemed to be communicating amongst themselves, but they were too far away for him to make out their words and listen in on their conversation. Content to observe, he flattened himself against a crevace near the base of a sandy boulder, and peered down at them, still small specks in the distance, watching them with a fixated, calm stare.

The shewolf shared in her misery and admitted she was alone.
Interesting. Her tail tumped idly, well more like gave a soggy splat but the idea was the same.
"I am gathering shewolves, for a Vision I have. There is a valley, in the mountains towards the coast, where Ravens roost in the cliffs. I plan to build a home there, free of men, a haven for Amazon's and healers and witches."  It was a revolutionary concept, she was sure.
But one she planned to make work.
One that her entire heart and soul was invested in.
"Would you be interested in shaping such a place?"

Dragoon felt an eerie shiver, like someone was watching them. With the rain heavy around, it was hard to distinguish any particular scents, and she didn't see anything in particular. Nontheless, the feeling remained. It gave a rather unsettling guard.

The strangers voice broke that concentration, but didn't let it show. She continued maintaining a focused attitude, while patiently listening to her recruitment ad, "Yeah, sorry miss, but i'm only a mercenary." The ghost shook her head, at the offer. It was an oddity that wolves in these lands continued to seek out subordinates , firstly was the brown, curly tail man, and now the silver woman.

"I'm for temporary hire, not a forever member."

Which was her usual line, however, Dragoon only was specifically hired for those within packs. She found it difficult to believe a loner could provide protection, and a large amount of food. It felt simply more comfortable when surrounded by guarded land- without needing the drama between the members. If she felt differently, the Mercenary wouldn't be what she is, either an eternal loner, or a pack member.

He inhaled and observed, watching the two converse. He got the feeling that perhaps they didn't know each other- but at least they were being friendly. Neither of them sported the same, doggy musk that a male would have, so he assumed them both to be female- and put that along with his general assumptions that at least female wolves could be somewhat rational. Nevertheless, they were wolves, and this was his Mesa. He withdrew from the edge of the slope, and began to walk away- when he took notice of a large rock that was fairly round in shape; about the size of a soccer ball. It was near the edge of the slope.

Unable to shake his inner feline temptations, he sidled up to the sizeable rock, and batted it- sending it rolling over the side of the mesa, but he didn't bother to check and see where it went...Before he strolled over to the next stone, this one the size and shape of a football, and sent it flinging over the edge as well. This was fun. Knocking things off the edge of his mesa. He continued with his new amusement, finding rocks that were anywhere from the size of a baseball to one the size of an exercise ball, which he had to push with his shoulder. Curious to know what it looked like as it rolled down the slope, he peered over the edge with mild curiosity at the inevitable descruction he'd created.

The sensation of being watched nagged at her.
Danger. There was danger here. Not one of a spiritual kind, no. A physical, flesh and blood, predatory feeling that had Macaria on her paws, anxiously scanning the edge of the Mesa.
the shewolf seems alerted as well...
Her dismissal is not heeded as closely as she typically would when the sound of a rock tumbling down the side of the mesa draws her attention with a snap. Landslide? She searches the ground for cracks, backing up towards the center of the precipice. Another clatter, followed by a Rumble, and Her eyes fell on him, exposed by the boulder he'd knocked loose- a Lion.
Every nerve in her body screamed at her to run. But she had no prey. And neither did the lion. And it wasn't attacking, so perhaps didn't have Cubs? It was far too late in the year for small Cubs anyways.
So curious, she approached the cat, dark eyes peering, body flattened, trying to mimic what she had once seen a bobcat do after losing a fight, and therefore assumed were signs of submission in felines.
Silently, she watched, and waited.

Boulders were falling through, with Dragoon moving to the side to evade the play of the cougar. Finally seeing what was lurking in the abyss, they gave a long, dreary sigh. She hated cougars, they were always cocky and sly, always wanting to cause trouble. It was just annoying, and she had no intention to stick around.

"Hey," the mercenary called out, "this your land? I'll leave."

She didn't even take at a glance at the woman, whom Dragoon concluded they were not right in the head.

Well, that was satisfactory. The wolves took notice of him now, and he regarded the one who called out fo him with a calm, aloof stare, and with the flick of a paw, sent another rock bouncing down the slope toward them with a movement deft and lackadaisical. "It is," He chirped with a light voice, over the slope and the sound of the tumbling rock. He pursued it with his gaze, mouth opening slightly in amusement as it bounced off another boulder and ended up smashing into bits against the trunk of a tree. He made a small sound of approval. That was kind of cool.

But now one of the wolves approached him with a sort of slinking motion that made him flatten his ears. She had her tail low, and crouched, but the fact that she saw fit to come any closer made his pupils narrow to tiny dots. He didn't associate the behavior with that of a bobcat, and instead assumed that she was simply trying to sneak up on him which offended him greatly. He hissed loudly, and wheeled around, hefting his bulk against another large rock so that it too would roll down the slope toward the offending female. Not waiting to see his results, he eyed the largest boulder he could find, already teetering precariously on the edge- And had to brace his hind feet on the ground so he could give it a shove with his massive front paws. This one would take a good chunk of earth with it, as it flipped end over end, causing a volley of other rocks and boulders to go tumbling down the slope. He giggled wich chaotic bliss as he peered down toward the dustcloud he'd created that grew the further it went down the slope.

Well clearly that didn't translate right, as the cat hissed and began punting increasingly sized boulders at her.
she leaped, grunting with the pain of her injured shoulder, attempting to dodge the landslide he had caused. The rain-softened clay gave way underneath her and she was being swept downhill, battered and bruised as she went.
Clearly  cats were not something to try and make friends with.
Limping slightly, she moved off.

And Dragoon was out. She was not staying longer to the lady who spoke of witches and amazonian healers, nor' the pesky cat throwing boulders down. Her escape was rather quick, as soon as the cougar was starting to hiss at the other, she immedietly knew that was a sign to simply leave.

The mercenary considered herself strong, but a lone wolf could not fare well against a large feline.
