Hide was getting restless. They did not treat him as badly as they had when he first got there - he had been fed and allowed to sleep in a dry area and wasn't relentlessly bullied anymore, and he honestly felt a bit better than he had when he first got there. There was still a slight ringing in his ear, but the headache had dulled down to a mere throb and he was getting his strength back.

It was time for him to go home.

He still wasn't sure if he'd be allowed yet. Was he still a prisoner? Was Yuelong still waiting for him? And how mad was Orochi going to be?

All of these questions weighed heavily on him as he padded around the hard-packed terrain, following Donovan's scent intently. He was pitifully unfamiliar with the territory, but he didn't really need to be. "Donovan?" he called as the scent got stronger. He must be getting close.

The male rests in his den, not thinking this day will be too different from the rest. That is until Donovan hears a low calling of his name. Or what he’s told everyone what his name is.

His ears cup towards the voice and he’s prowling out of his den to meet them. Turning the corner and practically bumping into the blind wolf. The mixbreed stands tall and tucks his chin to gaze down to the other. A quirk of his brow that Hide won’t see, but something Donovan entertains anyway.

“Hide.” He hums lowly, hovering over the male.
