this is very unusual for summer >.< no judge me!!

Mira had been cursed since long ago, when something evil crept into her heart and squeezed it into a dry seed.

Mira dug her fangs into the throat, tightening her grasp viciously as she could. This scum stole you. She squeezed harder. This scum hurt you. Blood leaking into her mouth, in her throat, it was like drowning in the red sea. This scum hurt Mother's family.

Mira yanked herself backward, ripping something thick away while Priapus spoke her last words. Her maw was coated in crimson; she fell to the ground while 'Mother' slumped where she had been flung, whatever life was left in her rapidly leaving her body in the form of her lifeblood. She heard a squeal like a wild hog from the bitch turned corpse; Mira didn't know if that was real or her imagination. She couldn't think straight; the world swirled before her and she felt a kind of terrible sickness in her gut.

It wasn't done.

Priapus was fading, but it was so sudden. The serpent spat out whatever she held in her jaws onto the ground- some part of the throat that she didn't recognize well, not at this size. She'd only ever dissected her dolls- mice, birds- but the organ was unrecognizable now. She wondered about all of it.

And she still felt incomplete. She hadn't done enough. Priapus' body was only held upward but the branch that had impaled her through the side of the stomach- and Mira paced towards her, gaze boring into hers like two suns, looking for any glimmer of consciousness that remained. Her eyes were half lidded and dull, and her tongue hung from her mouth like any dead dog that had ever died. Mira reached up, grabbing her scruff almost gently and pulling her body down to the earth. The movement of the corpse caused her loose neck to swing back and forth like a pendulum as she shifted, spilling blood faster onto the earth and Mira's paws, drenched in liquid. The killer let the corpse fall to the earth, and for a moment stared upon her- no, it- observing it simply. A dead wolf. She had never seen one before; even that smoky stranger who had come to the borders collapsed had survived, cared for by @Kukutux

Mira released a sigh from her nostrils heavily, and shifted forward, leaning towards the grey face and letting her hot breath fall upon it.

She quickly went to work. The demon fixed her fangs at the lower eyelid of one socket, dragging her teeth along from the base outward until the skin began to part. Along the way she made a mess- she was just a child, after all- popping the eyeball in a gruesome manner, liquid beginning to seep down like a bloody egg yolk. The flesh beneath was red, and still gave off the heat of a living body. Mira peeled away skin and skin and more fucking skin until Priapus' head looked like a volleyball with ears, a nose, and one half-lidded eyeball where it had been too difficult to tear away the lid without breaking the eye. She took the mangled throat between her jaws and shook her head back and forth, gnawing and ripping until some part of that bone ladder separated, and the head fell from the corpse, eye looking out into the world that spun upside down as she rolled.

If she knew the words to swear she would've. Instead she screamed into the daylight, vocal cords rough from the pressure that had been placed there just minutes before. Crows and sparrows departed from branches into the sky, and Mira fell onto her side with a rare fearsome sob that caught in her throat. She had let Mother down. It dawned on her, how many days she'd been gone- how angry and dissapointed her family would be to see her return with nothing of benefit. Drenched in blood and tears and it was hard to say which was greater there, Mira gathered the skinned noggin in her jaws and began to slowly make her way away from the murder scene- and all the while, quiet tears continued to flow.

At present, Ksura will often be near Mira's den, and thus welcome in her familial threads.
