Conquest had come to join them. Mintaka was still absent, and Hydra still sought her. With her silver daughter gone, Hydra would not know true peace. But the thought of aiding Vengeance and Conquest both settled her weary heart a measure, and perhaps part of her actions was for the thought of Mintaka by her lonesome out there. For taking in Conquest, Hydra could not help but hope that for it the world would show Mintaka some kindness despite her daughters mindlessness. Mintaka and the rest of her children were not yet proficient hunters, and Hydra would never accept a wolf like her in her ranks if she could not hunt. 

Vengeance being dead, and Conquests other parent being absent, meant she had no one else to teach her anything. 

It was time to teach her children a lesson in leadership, and decisions made there. More than that, long term effects and alliance building were dualities of this. To extend kindness to allies was permissible, and Conquest, Hydra hoped, would become more to them than that in time. In time, it would be Hydra's children that saw to the continued growth of their empire. She would show them the way.

Days passed and his sister had not returned, as far as Caelum was aware. He did not care very much, sticking mostly to himself. His siblings did not pay him much mind, and he did not pay them much mind; he was on his own a lot. He had found a small den in which he had started to gather a few pretty things: a shiny rock and a jet black feather were all he had gathered so far, but he would find more in time.

When he arrived he was first; notable was the absence of Mira, who seemed to always be first by their mother's side in these instances. Caelum moved in towards his mother to lick her chin almost mechanically in the way that he had learned and he stepped back to wait for his brother and sister and hear what lesson or news she had for him and his siblings today.
