This thread may end up being archived without a reply as it is slightly backdated. And because of said associated plotgoblins, not looking for any megawrenches here. I'm too tired to sort that sort of thing out right now. :P Tag is for reference

When the pair had run off, Arbiter had been teaching @Royal a thing or two about hunting, most likely. She wasn't sure if they were quite ready for true fighting training after all, but soon. Her other children were supposed to be doing something similar on their own, but when their paths headed out of the territory instead of staying where instructed, something was afoot. A howl to Warlock to keep an eye on her remaining daughter and Arbiter went off after them. She had chased after, but as always, there was a detour.

Whether or not they realized the coyote was on their trail, she assumed the latter. She took no chances -- it was alone and obviously quite hungry if it was going after prey that had teeth -- it needed to die. The chase had taken her wildly off track but there was no chance she was allowing the creature to continue its existence if it put them in danger. It was executed, probably with far more brutality than needed, but frustration decided that was necessary. As she now swept across the marsh back to the trail she had found before, Arbiter was quite obviously Devil's daughter, the infuriated expression on her face lighting his features in hers. She would find her children. If Kaertok's little unannounced jaunt had caused this, he'd best hope he had a really good reason if he returned. If he didn't, maybe he should stay gone, and everyone else should stay out of her way.
Arbiter is often not a nice person and will think mean things without acting on them.
If you aren't sure whether her snarky thoughts might be readable, just ask!  IC≠OOC
