He's aiming for the High Priest Rank and needs three warrior threads and so anyone willing to spar please take him up.

Vein wandered the area deciding to get all the sparing practice he could get done in one day done so that he could go back to eating and planing his Herb Caches, He hated to waste energy and so if he could get in the required practice all at once, mores the better


With that thought he raised another howl requesting a spar.

From the trees came the titaness Nyra in all her glory. Sunfire gaze leveled to Vein's own, a fully impish smirk on her face as she stopped proudly before the shaman


"I thought you'd never ask." She purred, nodding once to the medic as a gesture of you go first

Vein decided to walk closer to her, at ease not a taught muscle in his body

"Ask what?" he purred smoothly circling her, as he moved up her other side, if she allowed him to circle her. He went to bite where her leg met her chest, her armpit so to speak. It was not a savage bite, nor was fast, almost a lovers bite, it was just meant to hold her in such a tender spot that pulling away would be difficult

Keeping his body behind hers, pressing his side against hers trying to stay out of reach of her teeth and to feel if she went to spin away.

Rolled a 12!

As Vein came forward, Nyra waited with an amused chuckle as he moseyed toward her. Then, he went to bite.

Lazily, if she saw him going right.
But as his teeth pinched her armpit, she vipered forth and seeked a strike toward the base of his skull, aiming her teeth to clamp down on his equally large mass.

Rolled a 7

She was a smart fighter he respected that, her grab for the base of his skull might have been fatal for a smaller opponent for an opponent with less mass to protect his neck, he had so much extra fat that a decent grab would be very hard and Oh it hurt, this was a spot full of nerves despite the fat. It was why mothers instinctively carried their pups much lower on their neck.

She got her target, that was not in doubt, however his skin was not as loose as most and there was to much fat and it protected muscle and especially bone. And though his head was lowered at the time of her grab he was as tall as her, not allowing for a brutal pin.

Vein almost stiffened below her fang, but he caught himself and relaxed tensing would cause more pain instead he lunged upward like a rearing horse, shoving himself into her grip and then rocking his body in an attempt to crash down on her and pin her under his bulk or at least break free

As Veiin bucked backward, Nyra let go quickly, instead of having him shove himself in, she turned her muzzle under him as fast as she could, and aimed her teeth for his throat, seeking to shove him backward with his own momentum at the least if she couldn't throw him to the ground. 

They were both sturdy beasts of equal height, he was simply heavier. She had to use that if she could.

As she went for the underside of his throat, a smart move in his opinion, He barely winced as her teeth found their mark with skill.

He moved to wrap his fore paws around her attempting to pin her to his chest, in hopes to not allow a thrash to bleed him out, He was attempting to hold her with his impressive bulk.

In this action of grabbing her with his forelegs, He sought to grab any bit of white flesh close to him in his teeth. 

The sudden meeting with the ground as gravity took them, may knock the wind out of one or both of them.

Nyra rolled a 4!

She didn't let go as he grabbed her, instead increasing pressure.
And as they fell she continued to hold tight, even as her oxygen levels depleted under Vein's weight.

Nyra would not let go, even if she passed out.

He rolled an 8, the exact number he needed, such is fate :D
I very very much enjoyed this spar, I was not expecting a win

He landed just slightly on top of her, the breath whooshing out of him, Despite that he quickly rolled so she was directly beneath his bulk and then he just lay limp, crushing her below him not allowing her to take in air as he fought with his own lungs to draw in breath, though his would and they’d have the time and space to do so. 

He lay upon her until she let go though, if she had to be forced to black out, her’d body go slack despite herself and her’d grip eventually loosen to the point he could pull away. She’d taste his blood first though not that he minded. She had earned that right.

He was crushing her,  but she didn't let go. Instead suffocating under him as she lost oxygen and yet tasted his blood in her mouth.

Before she knew it, she fainted, body going limp underneath the shaman.

He jumped up the moment the moment the overseer stopped moving, his blood dripping to the ground unnoticed by him.

"Nyra" he rumbled and nudged "Breathe Beautiful One Breathe!!" He chanted as he licked her face and slipped his tongue across her nares once or twice to help her bodies instinct to gasp air.

He'd only stop licking and nuzzling her face only once he heard her intake of air. Stepping back to give her space, He had enjoyed this spar far more then he thought he would.

For the short duration of her faint, she heard things as if underwater. 
It was only a minute at most with Vein's efforts that Nyra finally let out a huge gasp and rolled to her paws with heavy pants and wide eyes.

Slowly calming herself down, the Overseer looked to Vein with pride. 
"You did well. Congratulations." She praised.

He bowed his head to her solemnly "Thank you for the spar Mi'lady"

Nyra continued to breathe and get her air back, offering Vein a dip of her head in silent acknowledgement before she slowly started on her way again. Perhaps she needed food, but she might not get any on her own right now.

Vein led Nyra to a small cache where they could eat in quiet company together, she needing to feed her growing pups and he needing to replenish his 'wasted' energy he needed to eat to keep up his weight after all.
